Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

( That's what he did to get sent there. ;) )

"I'm not fitting in here. I'm too far gone." Dimitri said with conviction. He wasn't school material. He was a trained killer.

Ioan squatted so that he could look Dimitri in the eye. "I understand." He replied honestly, brushing a hand through his hair in frustration of himself. "I don't expect you to. I can't imagine what it is like for you, after all that." Ioan quickly stopped as his voice cracked when a painful memory returned. "After all that you been through. You must keep trying, knowing that if you don't you will face a far worse fate." Ioan tried to speak emotionlessly, but sorrow mingled with each word.

Zaiden slowly awoke. He opened his eyes, letting his sight adjust to the bright sunshine that fell through the window above them.
Sophia didn't say anything, just looked up at the sunlight as well, then back to him. She purred contently, a sensation she had never felt before, but her fox side wanted her to, as she was content.

Amaryllis closed her eyes, grateful for Haley's kind gesture. She craved the love that Aneurin couldn't give her. It wasn't his fault, she knew this, it was just he never had time to do anything but fight to protect her from Ryker.
Haley slowed, ending with a final gentle pat on the girl's shoulder. She leaned back against the wall of the van in a relaxed manner. She was full of questions, but Amaryllis probably wasn't in the mood to talk deep right now. She seemed tired, not so much physically, but mentally

Dimitri grew quiet at the heartfelt words. He found solace in them and nodded agreement. "I will try again." Was all he said, as he stood up and gathered himself.

(Ok, just wondering.)
Laurel looked to Razeth questioningly once more, not yet having full understanding, before meeting Madison at the doorway.

"Don't worry, it's not a trick. Sitting in a small box is not good for your overall health, mentally or physically. So you're new here?" Madison said as she shut and locked the cell door.

(Sorry I haven't been on here much, hopefully with Thanksgiving past I'll have more time ;) )
Zaiden glanced towards her lovingly. "Good morning, Sophia." He smiled broadly.

Aneurin parked the car after traveling a great distance. He ordered that the girls remain quiet as he unloaded supplies from the van. He then returned soon after. "Amaryllis, Haley, come with me. I'm leaving the van here. We'LL have to travel the rest of the journey on foot." He explained in a hushed tone.

"Yeesss.." Laurel replied slowly as she caught her last glimpse of Razeth as the door was closed behind her. She was hesitant about being parted from him.
