Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"Oh but surely unicorns aren't completely useless. I mean, they're so pretty," Allen said in a slightly mocking tone. "Besides, without them, how would we get rainbow poop to fertilize our gardens?"
"They're just like models. Everyone likes them but they are completely useless. And with how vibrant they are, heck, they're probably toxic. That's just life." Yhgiilra said and grinned.

When Razeth caught sight of Laurel and saw that she was fine, he replied, "I was wondering if they'd bring you back in one piece." He smiled with a chuckle as he realized how pathetic that sounded.

"Pardon? What is this Allonsy?" Leverett inquired imploringly.

(You can play him if you want. I'll play the team watching him until Ryker can get there. If that's alright? )

(Run Wild? )

Alexis glanced down at her hands, thinking whether she ought to give a serious reply or something silly. "Well thanks, pop," she teased. Silly won, as usual. "You aren't half dumb yourself."

Dimitri snorted at her teasing retort and said, "Alright, I can take a hint. And thanks for the compliment, it means a lot coming from you." He scrubbed his stubbed chin absently as he thought of a follow up conversation starter. "Ok, favorite colors are covered....how about favorite foods?" He asked hopeful that that topic was acceptable.

"You're most welcome. Feel free to wrap it in a box and lock it in a safe if it means that much," Alexis joked. "Now, food. That's always a good topic. It's really hard, honestly, to pin it down to one food, but my favorite kind of food is hands down Italian," she said cheerfully. "What about you?"

Dimitri frowned at Alexis slightly, before he shrugged and answered,"Since only Russian food I had was gruel, I find American cuisine to be exemplary. I'm a big fan of Italian food as well. Mainly pizza."

"You know," Alexis leaned forward a bit, as if she was about to tell the world's greatest secret, "pizza actually didn't originate in Italy," she told him.

Dimitri played along as he also leaned in. He then imparted a factual truth, "I happen to know, the first known pizza came from port Alba in Naples. Which is in Italy. But pizza didn't get really interesting until it came to the Americas with its Italian immigrants. Where it was reinvented in New York City."

"I beg to differ, Professor. Pizza, at least, a form of it, goes back as far as ancient times," Alexis stated matter-of-factly.
