Amaryllis focused her intention on the water; how it strengthened her and gave her the courage to keep going in an attempt to forget about the sorrows of her brother.

"Do you hear that?" Haley asked suddenly. She stopped once again and cocked her head, listening to the faint sounds the wind carried along with it, as well as inhaling, searching for any new scents. She closed her eyes to narrow her senses and turned slightly away from Amaryllis.

Madison glanced down the hallway to give them privacy or at least as much as their close proximity would allow. Before Laurel moved into the cell, she then closed and locked the door behind her.

"Good point," Alexis said with a nod. "In that case, maybe we should check in with the cooks. Leave some dessert magazines lying around the cafeteria, drop hints about crème brûlée and the like," she suggested, half jokingly.
