Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

(orange ;) )

"Do you think you can squeeze through here?" Haley asked, peering out the window at the rickety metal staircase that ran past. She backed up to take the backpack from Amaryllis and let her look.

( :tongue )
Amaryllis handed her the backpack, before going to see for herself. Cautiously she pulled her thin upper body through the window, and then her legs with greater ease. She afterward stood, the rickety staircase shaking beneath her weight causing her stomach to churn, or maybe it was the guilt she felt for what they'd done.

Haley smiled with satisfaction as she shoved the bag through to the other side. Now, to get her own self out. Amaryllis definitely had the advantage in height here, but thankfully they were about the same around the middle. Haley pulled herself up onto the thin ledge with relative ease, then swung her long legs out, dodging Amaryllis. "That wasn't too bad," she muttered as she pulled a stuck strand of hair from a crack. The now shaking staircase caused her to lose her balance momentarily but she quickly regained it after grabbing ahold of the window frame.

Amaryllis caught the backpack and stepped closer to the raling of the staircase, allowing Haley room to move out of the window. Noticing Haley's loss of balance, she quickly reached for her free hand to support her firend.

"Thanks," Haley said with a grateful smile. She took the pack and adjusted it on her shoulder, then examined their surroundings. The sun was coming up over the mountains, sending bursts of light their way. Below them lay the quiet town, hardly awake, and above were more floors to the shack of a hotel. "Let's head that way," she said, pointing the opposite way of the mountain they'd come from the evening before.

Anuerin quieted, he knew that what she said was not true, but arguing with Madison was pointless. In silence he boarded the plane, thinking of his sister all the while.

Madison walked Anuerin to the last seats on the Learjet. She looked down at a slight dozing Ashton before clearing her throat loudly. "You wouldn't mind babysitting Riker's brat of a son would you or would it cut into your beauty sleep? I have more important things to do, you know, like actual work."

Ashton's eyes shot open at Madison's tone and glared at her a moment before shifting to Anuerin. She sat up from her reclined position and smiled pleasantly as she resumed eye contact with Madison. "But of course I'll watch Anuerin. It seems all you're good for is grunt work. A pity really, you're so lost when it comes to intellectual conversation." She then dismissed Madison from her attention to focus upon Anuerin once again as she moved her legs from the seat beside her. "Please, have a seat." She said gently.

Shakily, Amaryllis peared back at the window which lead to their room. "Alright." She agreed finally, allowing Haley to lead the way.

(If you wouldn't mind creating a nurse, that would be cool :D I grow board after being locked in this cell for too long :P )
"Yes, and thankfully without nightmares." She admitted quietly, her gaze directed on him alone.

Aralyn yelped in surprise as blood squirted from her arm. Gritting her teeth, she softened her hold on Leverett's neck, but did not let go. Determined to escape the weight Leverett pinned her to the ground with she shifted, stifling a scream as she did with the unfathomable pain that aroused every time her body took on her mermaid form. "Dont make me show you what a real bite feels like." She threatened, exposing her baracuda fangs.

Razeth curled the corner of his mouth up with a rueful smile. "That's me, I'm so scary I chase nightmares away. " He said teasingly. But his levity was short lived as he heard footsteps coming down the hallway.

"Try it, Mon Petit and I'll gut you like a guppy. Then sale you carcass to the Islanders for sushi!"" Leverett retorted hotly. His claws still at her abdomen with latent intent.

Anuerin stood beside Madison in silence, emotionally unmoved by her many criticisms. He remained where he stood in hesitance at the stranger's offer, but agreed, collapsing in the isle seat, the seat farthest from Ashton, not for her sake but for the sake of his throbbing head.

"That's me, the definition of 'good influence'," Alexis laughed as she watched Dimitri place the chair. "Perfect. Circle complete. What do you think?" She asked, turning around slowly to see their work.

"It's mystery is very reminiscent of Stonehenge. I only hope our circle will evoke the same controversy of its meaning." Dimitri said with exaggerated speculation. He then grinned with mischief and said, " I like it. I only wish I could be fly on the wall when they start class tomorrow."

Madison grimaced with obvious anger, but turned on her heal and stormed away. Ashton's smile was slow with satisfaction. "That one is a blunt instrument, but then I'm sure you know that. You look a bit pekid, are you alright?" She asked after a moment of observation.
