Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Anuerin grunted as Vasper threw him to the floor. He was about to contradict him, admit the reason he had come to fight him was purely to revenge his sister, but then his offer had sounded so tempting. That's when he looked to see Amaryllis standing beside them; sweet, caring and pure as she ever was. And he'd hurt her.
Atalanta, not the sharpest knife in the drawer, went down the entire hall before realizing she was going in the wrong direction. She soon picked up on the vibrations and slight noise coming from where the Anuerin was and headed that way, though she didn't know if Anuerin would be found there.
Atalanta spotted the group and headed towards them, searching for Anuerin as she did. And boy, was she in luck! For there he was. What he was doing was of no matter to the singleminded girl, she was here with one thing to do and she intended to do it. As she neared, she leaned against the wall to stay out of the direct path. "Hey boys, hate to interrupt, but I think I got a damsel in distress that needs a key of sorts?" She said with a shrug.

Amaryllis rushed down the hall, passing Anuerin's room along the way, to find the source of shouts coming from the other direction. She found the men fighting intensely, and was about to break up the fight, when Vasper's words stopped her. "Anuerin,?" She hardly whimpered, not able to finish her sentence by mentioning suicide. Her sincere blue eyes glanced between Vasper and Anuerin, disappointed in them both.

Vasper looked to Amaryllis and snapped, " Keep him away from me, Amaryllis. I can't promise my restraint will last for long if he doesn't." He looked to a shocked Dyrus at his side as he stared down at Anuerin with a guarded look. "Dy?" Upon hearing his name, Dyrus looked to Vasper questioningly. "You coming?" Vasper asked him quietly.
Dyrus nodded and head off down the hallway with him.

Amara smiled at their banter as she chose a desk next to them and sat down. She went to work sketching, at first her fingers and hand protested at the work having been awhile since she last sketched. But after awhile it eased and she fell back into a happy rhythm of zoning out. She worked on two separate figures on one page. She drew a large tiger laying in the center of the page and continued to work out the rest of the drawing.
"Mumm, tiger jokes, sounds too tempting. But I'll look forward to what you come up with." Dimitri replied with a smirk. He then leaned in to whisper with humor, " How do you think our chairs went off? Do you think they left them that way the whole class?"
"Oh yeah, the chairs," Alexis chuckled, remembering what they had done. "I don't know. I haven't had time to check on the room or even think about it."

Preferably not, but okay. Zaine simply nodded his head towards her before hurrying back down the hall. He was going to be late again, he just knew it.

Allen waved to him as they neared. Even better than the name calling was the look on the poor guy's face when he heard it.
"That's your new and improved nickname, courtesy of Alan here." Ashton said as she went over to give Gideon a hug.

"Oh? I just thought you ever cheese had finally fell off your cracker. " Gideon said with a smirk as he returned her affection. He looked to Allen and admitted, " Now that name I can live with. It's gangster chic." He smiled sheepishly at that.

"Never go back to the scene of the crime." Dimitri teased playfully as he glanced to the drawing Amara was working on. "Oh, wow! That's nice and my favorite subject matter." He said pleasantly.

"Well I'm glad you like it," Allen said with a smile.

(Did you see my recent Atalanta post? I was hoping to catch dyrus before he left ;) )

Ashton looked around at the table and the others that were gathering for breakfast as well.

Gideon smiled happily and nodded.

Anuerin threw the key to Atlanta. "Get it yourself." He nearly growled. Glancing back at Amaryllis he couldn't meet her gaze upon seeing her sorrowful expression. Standing, he quietly left to go to his room.

"Anuerin, wait!" Amaryllis begged, running to follow after her brother. He walked too fast for her to keep up, so when she finally reached the door to his room, she had already been locked out.
