Iris hated losing, even though it happened all the time. She took off as soon as they had said Ready Set Go, and propelled herself trough the water using quick and agile breaststrokes.

"Subject forgotten," Lucy said, smiling pleasantly. "And no, vultures are very interesting. They do what no other animal does, and if their job wasn't done, we'd be living in a much fouled world."

Lilith raised an eyebrow at him mentioning nothing at all, and smiled. She replied "I like fall the most, so there." She asked "Braids or pigtails?"

Layla moved with purpose to the dining room, she stopped shortly after entering to see who was there. Far to many people in her book but there was an empty table near the two bird people so she would be fine as long as no one sat with her. She got her food and may her way to the empty table. She sat down back to the wall and began eating. She noticed one of the birds paying too much attention to her.

Maddox smiled at her "well I think I look best in pigtails myself. But since were talking hair, long or short hair?" He asked her playfully. He looked up as a women entered the room, it was Layla, he had bumped into her a few times before. He preferred to keep his distance especially when she was in a mood. Sadly she sat down at the table right next to them.

Layla looked at Maddox who was sitting at the table next to her. She didn't like that he was staring especially now when she was feeling vulnerable. "mind your own business birdman or I'll make a souvenir of your wings." She hissed at him.

"whatever Layla, no one is bothering you." Maddox replied tartly before directing his attention back to Lilith.

"Oh." Anuerin replied softly, as he shakily stood so that it was easier for him to remove his shirt. He hesitated a moment longer before pulling the shirt over his head, revealing two identical, thick jagged scars that ran perpidicular with his shoulder blades. He turned his back to Haley, not wanting to know what she thought of him losing his wings. He let the shirt fall from his bloodstained hands to the floor. That's when he realized what he'd done. He was so stupid, he realized, waking up from his thoughtful state. He crumbled to the ground, doubling over as severe adomen pain was coupled by an intense headache. He couldn't help but moan softly and hope it ended soon.

Haley took the shirt and folded it so that the glass remained on the inside. She set it carefully aside then moved to clean up the larger glass pieces on the floor. Anuerin's action startled her and she straightened quickly, hurrying to his side to help. "Anuerin, can you hear me?" She asked in a much calmer tone than she felt. The venom must've gotten to his bloodstream, either through injection or the delicate cuts all over his hands.

Dimitri laughed at Amara's statement as needed shook his head as he smiled. He then looked to Alexis. "Now don't be a hater. You know you can't live without you tiger sidekick." Dimitri replied with a chuckle.

"Oh a pun club i like the sound of that! But Alexis you have to be a member we need a judge, some to tell us who has the best puns." Amara replied with a smile, happy for the first time in a while.

"Well that's a sweet thought, but I've managed the first twenty plus years of my life all right without you," Alexis said, just to tease him further. "I'll be judge, as long as the pay is decent," she joked with Amara.

Ashton sat up and finished up her food before moving to get up to put her dishes in the special tub set there for just for hers. She smiled at Atalanta and said, "Hey, how are you this morning "

"Fine and dandy!" Atalanta said cheerily. Seeing and recognizing Dyrus, she was about to go over to say something, but realized courtesy demanded that she return Ashton's comment. "And yourself?"
