Charles shook his head, and opened the door to leave. He said "I was just trying to help, but you're just going to lock yourself out. I can't help you with that problem."

Layla saw he was going to leave, part of her wanted to taunt him, to call him a coward, but another part of her panicked. Against her better judgement what she ended up saying was something entirely different then either of them expected. "Sure leave, walk away just like everyone always does. Just like she did, everyone always leaves." Layla shook her head, angry at herself for saying anything at all. She turned and sat down on the matts leaning against the wall as all the fight just left her.

Elliot nodded, replying "Sounds good to me. Take it." HE took a last few looks, not finding anything special, so he prepared to head out to wherever they were going next.

Zoe went with him, grabbing a bag to carry the food in and a plastic knife to use then pausing to get a soda each from the fridge. "Ready"

Maddox touched down onto the sand just behind her. He smiled as he looked out at the beautiful blue waters, the hot sand and the endless horizon beyond the water. It was beautiful, he dropped his things stripped off his shirt and waded into the water. The water was warm and lapped at his legs, he knew from experience that his wings were not happy in the water, it sometimes impeded his swimming ability, but he didn't care.

Lilith took off her shirt and shorts, revealing her beach clothes. She ran out into the water, and hugged Maddox lovingly, pulling them both in the water.

She just looked at him and answered him honestly. "I don't know, I honestly don't know." Layla rubbed the back of her neck, she was so conflicted. "If I tell you something you have to promise it stays here, in this room." She looked at him, curious as to what his answer would be. She never told anyone about her past, but maybe that's what all the nightmares were about, maybe it was time she unburdened herself.

He chuckled and hugged her back. He then feel back and just floated in the waves, feeling them wash over him. "This was a great idea, I finally get to see my beach." Maddox said happily to her.

Elliot headed out of he kitchen with her, letting her lead the way.

Zoe headed back to the garden to use it to leave the compound and get out into the forest. She made sure he stayed with her as she went out to a stream and a large log that made a cover near the stream. She climbed up to the top of the log to take a seat there.

She just looked at him and answered him honestly. "I don't know, I honestly don't know." Layla rubbed the back of her neck, she was so conflicted. "If I tell you something you have to promise it stays here, in this room." She looked at him, curious as to what his answer would be. She never told anyone about her past, but maybe that's what all the nightmares were about, maybe it was time she unburdened herself.

Charles nodded, and sat down next to her, looking at her patiently to begin. His mind was open and his eyes were calm. He said quietly "You can start if you want all up to you. I'm just here to listen."

He chuckled and hugged her back. He then feel back and just floated in the waves, feeling them wash over him. "This was a great idea, I finally get to see my beach." Maddox said happily to her.

Lilith smiled, and laid floating alongside him, her wings outstretched. Her face was serene and calm, her body relaxed, as she floated on the calm waves.
