Amara was glad to see Alexis laugh, it meant she took little to no offense. "Yes it was a joke, or at least that's how I meant it. I don't want to pick a fight with a tabby cat who has a tiger body guard I'd lose." Amara said with a dry laugh.

"Wonderful! I'm soooo glad that's settled. You guys had me worried for a second. But all good!" Dimitri grinned to Alexis and Amara happily.

"Why were you worried about it, Tiger? You're the biggest one here, so you'd just about automatically win if things ever came to a fight," Alexis said, chuckling softly.

"So you'd just sit there and watch me die? What kind of friendship is that?" Ashton asked as a moment of not getting a rise out of Allen.

"Of course not, you goose," Allen said with a roll of his eyes. "I'm not that mean and heartless."

Haley sighed irritably. She was exhausted and neither Amaryllis or Dyrus were in sight. But the food was, so she gave in and went to fill a plate. She took a seat near the door so if either appeared she would spot them first thing.

After a few bites, Haley pushed the plate away as she felt too sick to eat. Venom before breakfast was a horrible idea, she noted. She finished her glass of water then went to dispose of her plate.

Nova turned to see Gideon coming. "How is Anuerin?" She asked quietly, not really answering his question, but giving him the chance to catch up with her.

Gideon slowed as he got close. He looked to his hand awkwardly as he said, "Anuerin's going to be all right for now. Ryker was pretty certain of it, unless he tries again. Why would he do that? I mean, I get that life sucks sometimes ....that you feel so alone....so misunderstood... like an outsider who is always looking in at normal. But I have to believe there's a reason to live. To survive the terrible things that have happened to us all."

Elliot whispered "No other girl had gotten a kiss from me. But now that you have my heart, you can expect a lot more." He leaned in for a single soft kiss.

"No one has kissed me before, except Ava, and that was sisterly." Zoe said and kissed him cheerfully again.

When they reached the lab floor, Ryker took over wheeling Anuerin to his exam room. "Thank you Alastor, I'll take it from here. Check on Haley, I left her with Laurel and Razeth." He said as he went.

Alastor looked to Ryker, before turning to do as instructed. He was curious to see how Razeth was doing. That was what he'd been doing when Gideon had called him with the urgent request.

Vasper nodded quietly and looked back the was he'd come. "I could carry one of the plates, but only so far, then you're on your own. I don't want to see that bra.....your brother anytime soon." He fairy growled under his breath.

Anuerin closed his eyes, shutting out the bright lights which gave him the smallest amount of relief.
