Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Charles nodded, and waited to see if she had anything else to say.

Victor looked down a bit at her, seeing her sweet smile. He wished her could smile nicely like that. Her smile radiated happiness and joy, he felt his didn't do that. "Well, I want to hang with you, so I'm glad you're letting me." he said softly.
"And you are?" Atalanta after a moment's pause.

"The feeling's mutual," Lucy said, spinning round once before continuing down the hall a few feet ahead of him.

"No, I insist," Alexis said cheerfully, looping her arm through Amara's. "Let's get our food, then we can all sit together."

Amara panicked a little as Alexis looped her arm through her own and led her back into the room. But after a moment she calmed herself down and took a few deep breathes and whispered a quiet thanks to Alexis.

Ava shook her head and looked to her drawing again, adding in an owl on a branch "No, I don't have any friends here yet."
Zaine watched her sketch, amazed at how someone could make something look so real with only a pencil and paper. "Do you not have a roommate?" He asked.

For once in his life Anuerin felt safe. He felt like he could be who he truly was in front of his father, and didn't have to conceal his weaknesses. He cried, all the emotions he'd locked up since he first began living with his father now freely flowed down his face in the form of tears.
(Do you like Anuerin now that you understand his character more?)

Amaryllis ran ahead as Anuerin's bedroom door came in to view. When she went to knock the door creaked open with the small amount pressure applied to it. Amaryllis sucked in a breath; Anuerin always remembered to lock the handle, and he certainly never left the door open when left his room. A strange scent lingered in the air. Something was wrong, very wrong. "Anuerin!" Amaryllis screamed suddenly, as the memory of what he'd said earlier came to mind. She began to weep, wanting to go search for her brother, but afraid of what she might find felt her body become too numb to move.
Ryker stroked Anuerin's hair gently as he cried. He even kissed his head and rocked slightly from side to side in a soothing motion. "Just let it all out son." He whispered as he too felt tears escaping his eyes.
(Yes, absolutely! :) )

Vasper sprinted to catch up with Amaryllis and he scented the room for clues. It smelled of trace amounts of venom layered under the smell of cleaning supplies. "Amaryllis, I do not smell death. I smell venom. Come, we'll check the lab. " He said with conviction.

"It's a pretty straightforward way of making sure you get to know at least one person," Zaine observed aloud. He chuckled softly to himself. But it didn't necessarily mean you'd like your roommate.

Anuerin smiled a little at the soft words. He had been fighting to hold the tears back, and now in this moment he was told that it was alright to let it all go. His father accepted him; he didn't disprove of his emotions as weakness like he had feared.

Amaryllis lip quivered with emotion, but she nodded her head as she tried to put faith in Vasper's word.

Ava nodded and smiled "I suppose it is, but if you don't get along with your roommate it could be very bad." She commented and moved to add bark to a tree, making it look like an ash tree with peeling bark then a buck at the base, rubbing it's antlers on the tree.
