Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Layla wandered the halls in Rykers mansion unsure where she wanted to be. She had worked out more then enough for one day. She didn't want to be in her room, and she didn't have any friends to look for. Until the Spider-Man had mentioned her finding a friend it have never bothered her being alone, but now it seemed too. It was almost like she was looking for a friend simple to prove that she was likeable enough for someone to want to be around her. She huffed grumpily as she rounded a corner into yet another empty hall. She leaned against the wall and tried to think about where she could go and what she could do.
"You look lost. Do you need help Mon Cheri?" Leverett asked quietly.

Amara looked at the small cat as she came closer to her. She laid down and put her head on her forepaws so as to look less threatening. She wiggled her little bear tail and chuffed happily at Donella. It was easier for Amara like this, she felt safer.
Donella gave her tiny mew and sniffed at the bear then sat and wrapped her relatively thick tail around her paws. She didn't mind the big bear, or the lion
(Have you looked at the Kodkod pictures? So cute)

"Dimitri!" Alexis sighed, exasperated with the shift. "I can't talk to you like that. Please change back so we can ta—wait a minute. Are you jealous?" She looked hard at him as an amused smile spread across her face.
Amara had watched them all quietly only asking questions here and there. Feeling like she was finally more comfortable she shifted into her bear form. She shook out her fur, the sun brought out the red in her chocolate coat. She chuffed lightly to Dimitri and Alexis in friendly manner.
Dimitri looked to Alexis only to huff at her. His attention wavered over to Amara briefly at her chuff, before Donella went over to her. His tail whipped behind him as he continued to walk the ledge. Slightly panting as the sun heated his massive body.

(Yes they are super cute! )

Amara stretched her nose out and sniffed Donella tail. She had never seen a cat quite like this and was quite curious. Then she stood up stretched and ambled over to Dimitri. She chuffed at him and then dropped her forequarters a little in what dogs often did as a play bow. She figured it was a common enough sight that he would recognize it.

Donella wandered back over to Andorra, sitting by her once more when Amara wandered off. The tiny cat liked being out here, but would start to look for some shade in a little bit.

Dimitri looked to Amara, but was in no mood to play. He then jump up to a higher wall ledge.

Alexis was grinning from ear to ear now. She was terribly amused with the whole situation; a bunch of zoo animals up on a roof, as well as Dimitri's avoiding her question. Walking ahead of him, she sat down on the ledge directly in his path. "Don't make me turn tabby to get an answer out of you," she said.

Layla turned her eyes toward the man who had spoken to her. She narrowed her blue cat eyes slightly at the comment, she didn't know any other languages but she had an idea what he had called her. She tried to place him, she had been here a while and seen most of the people in the mansion even if she didn't talk to them. Yes she had seen him before, but never spoken to him. "No I am not lost, just not sure where I want to go." She pushed away from the wall and looked at him squarely, maybe he could be her new friend? "I need a friend." She said plainly looking at him to gauge his reaction.
