Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"We've hardly just met," Cyra thought aloud, her natural wisdom to not trust someone she did not know well overridden by the pleasure he fed her dark side with, "and yet I feel like I've know you all my life."

"Ryker," she scolded softly, "I know between you and Anuerin I can't handle reality, but I'm tired of people lying to protect me. Besides, I know you think I'm stupid, but if you expect me to believe that Vasper ran away after telling you a joke, than your wrong. I'm smarter than everyone here gives me credit for." She admitted, flustered.
Indigo grinned widely and said wistfully, " That's destiny darling. Ain't it grand?"

"Amaryllis, I never thought or said you were stupid. Naive, yes. Vasper's departure was because you couldn't face a reality I presented him with. That's the truth. If you doubt my sincerity, ask him. He's probably still waiting for the elevator." Ryker replied with chuckle.

(She grabbed his arm earlier to keep him from walking away, that's what I meant)

Alexis stared up into his eyes, searching for answers and assurances. Without realizing it, she took a small step forward as well, but kept her gaze locked with his. "So I could call you literally anything, and you'd answer?" She asked.
( Ah )
" Even at great cost of my dignity, should you choose a less than flattering name." Dimitri murmured softly. He looked to her lips and licked his own longingly.

"Whoa! Stuff's be getting heavy over there." Andorra whispered with a chuckle. She the looked around as she noticed Amara was gone. "Where's the new girl?" She asked quietly.
Donella nodded then frowned "Did she leave?" She asked then moved to look around before going back to the door. She opened and went in before shifting and sniffing around, yep, that was the freshest scent and it went back inside. She shifted back to let Andorra know.

Elliot replied with a light laugh "Not so sure that might happen." He asked conversationally "Can you change your eyes into fox eyes at will?"
Zoe looked to him, pausing in her steps so she wouldn't trip herself as she let her eyes change to the fox's then back to normal "It helps with some things, but it can get disorienting."

A thin smile spread across Alexis' face as she watched him. She knew what he wanted, but she left him hanging, not out of rudeness but indecisiveness. Instead, she took another step forward, leaving her practically in his arms.

Cyra's green eyes sparkled with intrigue. "It is, I only wish I knew what I am meant to do."

Amaryllis wasn't sure what to think of Ryker's statement, but knew that she should talk with Vasper while she still had the chance. "Vasper, wait!" She called as she ran to meet him while he stood outside the elevator doors, waiting. "What's wrong?" She asked with genuine concern upon seeing his darkened expression.

Amara watched Dimitri and Alexis, she was happy for them. They fit together well. She also glanced over to Andorra and Donella, they too fit together like family. With a sigh she quietly got up and left the roof top. She stayed in her bear form, she was surprisingly quiet for something so large. She made her way down stairs and began wandering the hall once more. Wondering what she would find this time, or who. She could catch up with the others from the roof later.

Amara wandered the halls aimlessly, not sure where she wanted to be. She probably shouldn't have just left her new friends without saying anything, she realized that now. She was so used to being alone it just didn't occur to her that it was needed. In truth she was still a little afraid, although she wasn't one hundred percent sure what all she was afraid of. She sighed as she sat down in the middle of the hall. She looked around, this was a hall she had not been down before and currently it was empty. At least in her bear shape she felt safe.

" Yes, I'm a feline. A Caracal in fact. I get the sense of.... snow leopard?" He asked curiously. He shook his head and continued, "It has been my experience you can't kill all your problems. But thanks for the kind offer, I'll keep it in mind for the really mean nasties. " Leverett said pleasantly.

Layla was surprised how calm and collected he seemed. He didn't seem to mind her bluntness or awkwardness. Maybe she truly had found her friend after all. "Caracal huh? Never met one of those. Your right, snow leopard through and through. What gave me away, it was the spots wasn't it?" She said sarcastically as she gestured to her faint leopard spots that ran down her arms from her shoulders. She was wearing another tank top so its not like she was hiding them. "Well your probably right, killing doesn't always work. But offer still stands if you ever need a hand with something, I can handle myself in a fight." She replied, she liked him she decided. "I'm going to keep you, as my friend I mean, I like you and you smell nice." She said bluntly not really caring if he hade a problem with it.

Lilith sobbed in his protective care for about a minute, before she finally stopped. She wiped her tears away, a bit embarrassed, but choked out "You're so special to me. If it wasn't for you I probably would've become evil like most other people here." She paused, completely done with the sobbing, before adding with earnest "You made me stay who I really was and am. Thank you Maddox." She hugged him loosely, just enjoying the recognition that he was there comforting her.

"Of course Lilith, You're special to me too. And I don't think you could ever become truly evil if its any consolation. Plus not everyone here is so bad, there are some good people. True there are some bad ones too, but not everyone." Maddox replied as he helped brush her tears away. She was special, if anything ever happened to her he wasn't sure he would survive it.

(Yeah, she does. But she picks up on vibrations and has stereoscopic vision so she isn't completely vulnerable by lack of hearing.)

Atalanta went on her way as if the conversation with Charles had never happened. Her mind was strange that way, able to focus intently on one thing one minute then drop it as if it'd never happened the next. She considered it a way of coping with the day to day strangeness of life, but Priam just thought it inconsiderate.

"What?" Lucy asked, looking to him, confused.
Victor replied "Being so mean to my friends. They're crying at the table. Go apologize."
