"Thanks," Alexis mumbled. She slung her jean jacket over the edge of her bed, then felt through her dresser for a pair of pajamas. No need to worry about matching. The lights were out anyway and it wasn't like Kenya was going to care. Once she was sure she had a shirt and shorts in hand, she headed to the bathroom to change, making sure to not turn the bathroom light on till the door was closed.

"Welcome." Kenya muttered as she fell asleep again. She wanted to be well rested for tomorrow's school day.

Alice had walked out from the bathroom after brushing her teeth. That's when Sophia fired. Sophia grinned wickedly, and flew the drone back to them before packing the suitcases, handing one to Zaiden. She smiled at him, before she started walking down the levels of the garage.

Laurel closed her eyes in pain as he touched the wound. Her mouth fell open but not a single word left her throat as no words were able to express the pain she felt. As her shoulder began to feel numb a small amount of relief passed through her, but she trembled even still.

Zaiden stood their a moment after Sophia had left him with the suitcase, feeling convicted for their actions instead of the pride he had expected to experience.

Sophia saw the sadness on his face, and said, tears in her eyes, "I'm not living like this anymore. She didn't deserve to get hurt, and it was my fault. In going to try to escape Ryker's grasp on my next mission."

With the cleaning out done, he started debriding the inside of the wound by applying medical grade maggots. They would only eat the dead flesh, leaving the healthy living tissue alone. While they worked, he cleaned up the soiled gauze pads and put his instruments to soak in alcohol. He then got curved needles and suture thread ready to go.

Alexis changed quickly into her pajamas. Once her clothes were put away, she climbed into her bed and pulled the covers over her head, making it completely dark around. She smiled to herself as she went over the evening's escapade in her head. It was probably the most exciting and fun thing she'd done in years.

Zaire paced the hallway with his room key in his hand. He had been given it hours ago, but hadn't yet actually gone into the room. This place was so strange to him. The lighting was different; people were free to go about the halls as they wanted. Not just any people, not harsh guards, but nice officials and other people who could shift. He had seen a few of them back at the labs, but they were all in cells there.

(Anyone in need of a roommate?)
