"Of course sir. No more locking up guards." He hungrily snatched up his watch and reclasped it around his wrist,"Thank you sir. I won't disappoint you."

"Not so fast. I'm not through with you yet, Sebastian. " Ryker said as he stood up. "Follow me." He then headed for the door.

Sebastian inwardly groaned. More time with Ryker meant more of a chance to get on his bad side. As he followed him, he couldn't help but let his question slip out,"Sir. Can I have.a drink? It's been two days.."

"Sure! Beats roaming around aimlessly. " Andorra said with amusement. "Speaking of roommates, I haven't seen mine since this morning. Have you met Cyra? She's so much like me, it's as if we could have been sisters. " She said thoughtfully.

"Dude, lighten up. Life's too short to hold grudges. What can I do to make it up to ya?" Dimitri tried desperately to make amends.

"Cyra? Don't recall the name, but I may of seen her," Alexis said with a shrug. "We got lucky in roommates, it would seem. Dimitri, not so much," she chuckled, though she felt bad for him.

Zaine let out an exasperated sigh. He really had no desire to get to know Dimitri any more than absolutely necessary. "I don't know! Maybe don't turn Tiger and threaten to eat me!" He replied in an angry tone that surprised himself. He stopped walking and put his hand to his face, his back to Dimitri. "Sorry. Sorry for that," he said quietly.

"Cyra? Don't recall the name, but I may of seen her," Alexis said with a shrug. "We got lucky in roommates, it would seem. Dimitri, not so much," she chuckled, though she felt bad for him.

Zaine let out an exasperated sigh. He really had no desire to get to know Dimitri any more than absolutely necessary. "I don't know! Maybe don't turn Tiger and threaten to eat me!" He replied in an angry tone that surprised himself. He stopped walking and put his hand to his face, his back to Dimitri. "Sorry. Sorry for that," he said quietly.

Andorra laughed and nodded. "Oh, yeah. Poor Dimitri. But then our Tigger is an acquired taste." She said with a shake of her head.

Dimitri looked to the floor passively and mumbled, "I'll ask Ioan if I could swap with someone. That way you'll be happy with me no longer your roommate. Okay? Him and I are really getting to know eachother. Especially since the deck is stacked aginst me. It seems, no one likes this tiger." He then turned to walk down the hallway, in the other direction. Pretending not to notice the students that were openly gawking at him and snickering.

"Come on, man. Do you really think you're the only one here who is uncomfortable and gloomy, and displeased with circumstances?" He demanded.

Sebastian nodded his head slightly,"That sounds great, sir. I would enjoy that." There was enough room in the hallway so he spread his wings, letting the tips skim the walls.

"Good." Ryker stated as he glanced back at the quiet brushing of Sebastian's feathers against the walls. He then opened the door at the end of the hallway and stepped through, fully confident Sebastian would follow him in.

Dimitri looked to Zaine surprised by his reaction. "Well, no. I'm just coping as best I can. I've seen how you look at me and I just wanted to make you happier, is all." He said quietly.

. "Aren't we all," Alexis said with a light laugh. "Biased, that is. You're the only cheetah."

"We're all coping. Struggling, maybe. So please forgive me if I'm a little short with you. I really do not hate you. We both started on the wrong foot, here, but I'd like to get to know you better. Especially since we're roommates," Zaine said honestly. He held his hand out for a handshake, hoping Dimitri would agree. This wasn't a place you could get on easily by yourself, and he was equally eager for a friend.

Dimitri looked at Zaine's offered hand, as he wiped his own on his pants to clean it of any offending sweat, before he took it. "Yeah, sure! I'm glad you are giving me another chance. You won't regret it." He said humbly.
