Ryker sighed softly, "Are you not getting along with Leverett? He has the file." He said quietly. He didn't trust cellphones, they could easily get hacked. Landlines were more reliable.

Laurel nodded silenty, but her eyes remained filled with curiosity as she looked back to Madison.

"No." Aralyn replied honestly. "I know that he has it, which is why I inquired him to show me. But he did not, and I although I could have taken it from him I decided to speak with you instead of drawing," Aralyn's voice immediately lowered, as she again checked the occupancy of the bathroom, "unwanted attention."

"Spring water. Irish, if you have it. And no ice, please. As your ice is no doubt made from tap water, which rather defeats the purpose of spring water." He grinned. Nobody would probably get the reference but it was okay. At least he got to say it. He looked over at Ryker. Calls were not unexpected but Sebastian didn't particularly like being ignored. This was slightly awkward. He drummed his fingers unconsciously on the table.

The owner smiled and nodded as he left to go get the water.

Ryker frowned at Sebastian's behavior, but continued to speak quietly with Aralyn.

Madison came to sit next to Laurel on the bench. "It looks like we're both benched." She said with humor.

The owner came back with Sebastian's water and Ryker's usual beverage. He also had some complimentary appetizers for them, while their food cooked.

Ryker looked to him and smiled pleasantly, as a silent thank you.

"Nope! Not at all." Alexis put everything she had taken out back into her backpack, then looked around them to make sure no one was listening. "You wanna explore?" She asked in a dramatic whisper

"Yeah!" Zaine had meant his previous comment as sarcasm, but if Dimitri really did like all these stuffy textbooks, all power to him.

Zaine gave Dimitri an awkward smile in return before quickly turning to break the awkwardness. Sliding a thick book about elements from a shelf, he leaned his shoulder into the shelf and began reading through the table of contents. He wasn't really in a reading mood, but there wasn't much else to do in the library besides reading.
