Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Sebastian noted what he was doing and decided to do the same. It was a quiet atmosphere. Their table had a full view of the restaurant. Good in some aspects but not good in others. Sebastian felt rather exposed. He was glad the owner didn't freak or stare when he saw his eyes. Most people did. Sometimes Sebastian even creeped himself out. They were pretty weird.

Ryker closed his phone and put in his pocket. He picked up his drink and took a long sip on it. He then stacked the two empty plates and more then to the side. "Where does your sister live? The states or here abroad?" He asked conversationally.

"Why must they train?" Laurel asked softly as her sight drifted from the intriguing scene of fighting hybrids like her to look at Madison.

"Have I ever failed you?" Aralyn inquired before ending the call. She smirked knowing Ryker knew the answer was no. No she hadn’t ever failed him, and she wouldn't ever let herself.

"So we are ready to help Ryker realize his vision of the future. " Madison explained simply.

Leverett finally caught sight of the target. He started heading towards the general to intercept him.

Yhgiilra listened to his story with slight interest. Though she then soon regretted asking him because this story was very long. But he had a rather interesting childhood, to say the least.

"Well, someone doesn't know how to shorten up a story." Yhgiilra said with a chuckle once Allen had finished. "But, at least your history isn't a sob story. Not too boring, either. And I can understand someone loving to fight. I have the same problem myself, I'm afraid. So aren't we just two peas in a pod."
Yhgiilra paused to look at Allen, and with the mention of him being eleven (in the story) she couldn't help but make fun of him.
"So...How old are you now? With your height, I wouldn't think you would be any older than thirteen. Voice is a little high, too." She snickered. "Just a joke, of course...Maybe."
Allen stared at her disdainfully for a moment before replying. "Well let's see here." He rested his chin on his fist and pretended to be thinking deeply. He was going to draw this answer it slowly just to test her patience a bit more. "I was eleven when we moved to that place. I was there nearly three years. So. Hm. Oh yes, I was fourteen when I left. That same year, right before my fifteenth, I got in serious trouble with the law. That was fun. Went to jail, but wasn't there long. Why? Oh, yeah. I remember now. Got busted out by some of Ryker's men, not sure how many exactly. And that was five, six years ago? So let's see here." He counted, painfully slow on purpose, on his fingers before looking up at Yhgiilra. "So I'm nearly twenty-one now."

Dimitri sighed softly and looked to Alexis. "Also not what I said. But let's not argue semantics. Zaine was here, but it would appear he has ditched me. Unless you saw an owl upon your arrival? " He asked curiously.

Andorra shook her head, "No, not that I noticed." She said then looked around the library with her eyes.
"Yep. It would appear that he ditched ya," Alexis agreed. Turning towards Andorra, she put her hand to the side of her mouth so Dimitri wouldn't hear and whispered loudly, "Can't say I'd blame him for ditching," she said with humor.

"Alright, you're so slow that you have to be joking about it." Yhgiilra said and chuckled. "Either that, or you're an idiot. Anyway, twenty-one, quite the milestone that's coming up. You can almost finally drink now. Too bad you're stuck in here, but oh well." She paused for a few moments to glance around the room. For no real purpose, really. She then looked back to Allen.
"I'm twenty-five. So that means I'm superior to you in all ways possible. It's only fair." Yhgiilra joked and grinned at him slightly.

"An idiot, maybe, but slow? Nope. Only on purpose, when I want to be," Allen said in his defense. "As for drinking, I like to think of twenty-one as the age suggestion. Me and my little neighborhood pals of the past found ways often enough to get around that. But it doesn't matter now. I doubt Ryker would let such liquids get through to his "pets", and even if he did, I wouldn't touch it." With his little speech on drinking over, he quickly thought up a question for Yhgiilra. "How long you been here?" He asked.

Yhgiilra thought about that question for a few moments before answering.
"Well, I'll try to not wait thirty minutes before answering. I've been here for about two years now, I believe. Though I get so bored I've probably lost track." She replied simply and shrugged.

"Short and to the point." Allen observed aloud. "Any living family?" He then asked, being careful with how he worded his questions.

"The states." He replied, only to humor Ryker,"Same place they used to live before I was taken away. It's probably on my file if you don't remember. Probably didn't matter that much to you." He leaned back in his chair with his arms folded lazily in an 'I couldn't care less' position.

Ryker nodded slightly, "It was an honest question. It has been some years since I'd abducted you. So bring her here will involve a significant amount of paperwork and greasing the palms of several public officials. Good thing I have connections. " He replied quietly.
