Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"Nothing to do with that," Alexis paused to think about his comment, then continued. "At least, not that I'm aware. It's just that, of all that colors I've heard about, light blue is the most appealing," she explained.
---------
(*facepalm* yes, Ione. But hey, they might as well ask Ryker while they're at it :lol: )

Zaine turned to see who Andorra was talking about. His face broke into a smile when he saw who it was. "Hi! We were in the same math class this morning," he said, still smiling.

Dimitri nodded in understanding. "It is a soothing shade of blue. I can see why you'd like it." He said with appreciation.
~~~
Andorra smiled as she listened to Zaine and Cyra talk. It was funny how they'd made the same friends today.
Laurel followed closely, gaining more excitement the closer they came to Razeth.
~
"Who are we meeting with, Ryker, or one of his men?" Arayln asked , keeping a look out herself as well.
(Sure ;) )
When they reached the cell, Madison paused to unlock the door to let Laurel back inside. She looked in and saw Razeth aginst the far wall with a worried expression upon his face. Though he tried to hide it. His eyes were searching Laurel out with equal concern.
~~~
"No, not Ryker. But a team that will take him to an undeclared location and do whatever to him. Out contacts will pull in across the way and flash their headlights three times. To which I'm to return two flashes." Leverett informed Aralyn. He looked over to her briefly, before looking back out the windshield again.

Sebastian trotted behind him like an all-too-obedient puppy. "Okay! Sounds good to me!" He tilted his head curiously,"You get news on Aneurin? Good new, bad news?" Ryker just had one facial expression so Sebastian could never really tell what he was thinking. Well that wasn't true. He had his normal angry face and his really really angry face.

"Oh, the news is both good and bad. But the latter shall be dealt with, once I have reacquired Aneurin." Ryker replied as he walked over to his car. He looked to Sebastian over the top of the car, before climbing in the drivers seat.

Trying to keep a straight face, Allen asked, "What is this strange bell you speak of?"
"It's a magical bell made by Mexicans that gives us food. It's a huge bell. And you can walk into it. And there actually isn't one Mexican in it." Yhgiilra explained in a serious tone.

Dimitri nodded in understanding. "It is a soothing shade of blue. I can see why you'd like it." He said with appreciation.

Andorra smiled as she listened to Zaine and Cyra talk. It was funny how they'd made the same friends today.
"Since we had to go all deep talk on my color, tell me about yours," Alexis said with a smile. "Why this 'royal purple'?"
----------
Cyra waved as she stepped closer to the group.
(I can't remember, what happened in math class?)
"So, you two are roommates?" Zaine asked, even though that had just been stated by Andorra.

Allen gasped in fake amazement. "Wow, that is truly amazing. I need to see this Mexican bell sometime."

"I guess it has something to do with me being an orphan and it's ties to royalty and Roman emperors. You see, the purple dyes of old came from a lowly sea snail. It was so exceedingly rare that it became worth its weight in gold. To harvest the dye, the dye makers had to break open the thick shells and extract it's purple producing mucus and expose it to sunlight for a precise amount of time. To yield one ounce of perfectly created dye, 250,000 of these sea snails had to parish. With the fall of the Byzantine empire in the 15th century, the monopoly on the color finally fell. But it still wasn't until the 1850's that a synthetic counterpart became widely available. So you see, a nobody wearing the lustrious color is a bit ironical, don't you think? That and I really like the color." Dimitri replied truthfully.
~~~
Andorra giggled quietly as she noticed Zaine's nervous awkwardness.
"Oh, Professor Dimitri, you really should be teaching ancient history in place of that arrogant buffoon we've got now," Alexis chuckled. "Interesting stuff."
"Umm, yes. We are roomates." Cyra said equally awkward in the attempt of trying to not embarrass Zaine.
