Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Dimitri grinned widely and nodded. He was glad she hadn't judged him for be honest with her. She'd managed to gain just a little more trust for him. "That he is. " He said happily.
"Okay, let's see here. We've covered colors, food, dessert, and music," Alexis stuck a finger up for each item as she said them. "How about numbers?" She chuckled. "I know it sounds silly, but numbers are important too. Everyone's got to have a favorite."

Cyra looked up alertly. "Oh, it's not a book. It's a sketchpad of pictures I've drawn." She replied shyly.
"Neat," Zaine commented. "May I see?" He asked, smiling softly.

(I'm getting a little board :/ )
Amaryllis focused her intention on the water; how it strengthened her and gave her the courage to keep going in an attempt to forget about the sorrows of her brother.
"Do you hear that?" Haley asked suddenly. She stopped once again and cocked her head, listening to the faint sounds the wind carried along with it, as well as inhaling, searching for any new scents. She closed her eyes to narrow her senses and turned slightly away from Amaryllis.

Laurel shyly crossed the room and sat on the end of the bed. "Madison isnt so bad." She stated gently, not sure how well Razeth knew her.

Aralyn breathed out in frustration. "I wasn't suggesting that we disobey orders, I was just throwing around an expression, I thought you might recognize from your homeland." Aralyn countered, anger that her loyalty had been questioned.

Razeth moved to sit on the side catty corner to her. "Yeah? But you haven't seen her battle mode." He said with a bit if humor.

Leverett was about to retort something else, when a black, nondescript sedan with tented windows pull across the way. He tightened his grip on the gun in his lap. He settled as the lights flashed twice. "Show time, ma petite." He replied as he slipped the gun into his coat pocket and turned to get out.

(You want to play the pick up team?)

(Hey Run Wild, when you get a chance, if you could answer me and Nicky that'd be great. I know you're busy though so don't stress it :p )

Dimitri sat there a moment thinking about that one. He hadn't really gave it a thought before. But once confronted with the option tow automatically came to mind. "7 and 13." He said with a raised eyebrow.

"And, I don't think I want to." Laurel sighed with a roll of her eyes. She sat in awkward silence resting her hands in her lap.

Aralyn followed with eagerness, closing the door after exiting the vehicle. She waited until the men approached before leading them to the trunk without a word.
(Not really :p Sorry, for some reason I'm not good at playing filler characters.)

Amaryllis stood still in silence as she listened. "Yes," she replied breathless, not sure whether it would be better to stay where she was, or flee for cover.

"It's not from the lab," Haley assured her. "There's a new smell. Not really woodsy, if you know what I mean." She hesitated a moment before stepping out of the safety of the water and walking a few feet away from Amaryllis. "I think there's a cabin up ahead," she said pointing off to the distance.

Razeth looked to Laurel and noticed her awkwardness. He frowned at that and stood up to go across the cell to lean aginst the wall. "So, how did it go? Did you learn anything useful? " He asked to fill the strained silence.

(Oh, okay. )
Derick and company followed Aralyn to the trunk and stood expectantly there, as Leverett unlocked it for them. Once the identity of the target was confirmed, he nodded to his companions to retrieve the general from the trunk. "Wonderful! I'm relieved this mission went without incident." He said.

Leverett smiled and dipped his head in appreciation. "Yes, as am I. Especially after the security of the airport. We work well as a team sir." He said graciously. He looked to Aralyn and smirked slightly.
