Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

(Totally understood. BYC is a way for me to relax after stressing over Chinese language exams, parties, and celebrations that have piled up on me this last weak ;) )
"The truth is," Laurel began more boldly, "is that your very handsome. And I regret waiting so long to tell you." She then flashed a broader smile.

(Time skip to when they meet again at Lord Laboratories?)
Aralyn found peace that could only be found when she made contact with water. She became weak when separated from water, she felt this weakness a few moments ago, but when she rose from the water after the long journey back to Lord Laboratory she felt herself regaining the strength she once knew.

( Chinese, wow! That's a very hard language to learn. Good luck with your exams. :fl And thanks for understanding. I love rping but it seems I barely have time for it. *sigh* )
Razeth liked this confident Laurel. But he couldn't help the slightest of color that collected on his cheeks at her high praise. "It's never too late for such kind words. Thank you Laurel. For I've never thought of myself as handsome, let alone very. I'm glad you approve of my looks." He said softly.

(Sure! )
Leverett had went back to the vehicle and drove back to the airport to catch his flight. Aralyn was up her own river without a paddle. Also not his problem. He would protest any blame placed upon his shoulders for her defection. He sighed as the plane finally landed upon the small Island airport. He noticed the car to take him back to the laboratories. Regardless of how he tried to prepare himself for explaining where his companion had gone, he was still filled with trepidation. The driver didn't comment upon Aralyn's absence much to his relief, but the ride back was far too brief. He gathered his strength as the car came to a stop in front of the mansion. He stepped out and headed inside to Ericsson's office for debriefing about the mission.

"Technically, yes, I suppose," Alexis agreed. "Buuut you didn't, and since it didn't inconvenience yours truly in the least, I just got it."

Dimitri looked to Alexis and huffed approvingly. " A sound logic indeed. You are a female not in need of assistance. You know, Russians really do like independent women." He replied honestly even as he smiled mischievously at Alexis.

"Indeed," Alexis agreed, choosing to ignore his second comment. Why get one's hopes up in such unsure times? She sped up her step to get ahead of him by a few feet as she turned the corner.

Ryker smirked at Aneurin's flippant tone. "You only escaped my notice because I was dealing with other matters. Of which, I can assure you, for now on you'll have my full attention....for as long as it takes to find you sister and friend." He replied with forbearance.

Aneurin became silent, he had nothing more to say to Ryker who would only oppose him if told that he would never find Amaryllis or Haley. He watched his father closely, knowing Ryker's unusually calm mood would soon be overcome with anger, and afterwards violence.

"Looks like a shop," Haley said eagerly, excitement growing at the prospect that they were finally there. She linked her elbow through Amaryllis' and pulled her along.

Amaryllis looked to Haley sharing the same excitement to have found civilization. She smiled, and did her best to match her pace to the friend who was much more healthy than she was.

(Yes it is, and thank you ;) )
Laurel watched Razeth with big eyes full of admiration for him; she didn't have anything more to say, and for once the silence didn't bother her. She was finally happy. Even in this cell she felt more free than she had ever felt while she was by Razeth's side.

Hearing the vehicle pull up the driveway Aralyn exited the building. She had changed into fresh clothes that flattered her features, and grabbed her hand in a bunch and squeezed it with a towel to help it dry quicker. "What took you so long?" She demanded, sounding only partially interested in knowing the answer.

"Indeed," Alexis agreed, choosing to ignore his second comment. Why get one's hopes up in such unsure times? She sped up her step to get ahead of him by a few feet as she turned the corner.

Dimitri wasn't actually flirting with Alexis. He just had the bad habit of pointing out the attributes that he admired in others. After all, tigers were loners by nature, so it was no wonder he viewed the complication of a relationship, tedious at best. He however did long for friendships. Though he was struggling to facilitate that end. "Have you ever noticed that "Indeed" can sum up any answer to any question asked? " He replied with mild humor as they walked.

Haley arrived at the window of the nearest building and peered in. "Looks like a hardware store," she observed aloud as she glanced around the room. "And it looks to be closed," she added in a dismal tone.
