"I wasn't half bad," Alexis said with a hint of pride. "I wasn't terribly neat at the start, but I quickly learned from my mistakes and figured out the best ways to get around the many teachers at the many schools we attended." She chuckled at the memories.
Alexis stopped to scrutinize the work they had done so far, and, seeing that one chair was turned away slightly, went to fix it. "One time I ate a gallon tub of ice cream on a dare. Impressed still?" She chuckled awkwardly. Compliments, as much as they were appreciated, left her uncomfortable so she tried as often as possible to turn conversation to something more in her league, like humor.
"Moose tracks. Chock-full of of whatever they put in that flavor," Alexis replied promptly. She pulled two more chairs around, adding to about two thirds of a circle at this point.

Ryker shook his head and said, "No, I'm going to keep my eye on him until we're back. I'm not taking any chances of him escaping again." Ravek then moved to pick up Anuerin.

(you said earlier "let me know what you both think" about Aneurin being moved or something. Nicky that you were talking solely to her, and your use of "both" confused her, and me, and now you, I think(Okkkkk.... I have no idea what you just said. Silkie is she trying to tell me yes or no?
Anuerin blinked back the painful light that flooded the back of the Humvee as its doors were opened. He thrust Ryker away at his touch, attempting to stand on his own, but was prevented by his bonds.
