Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Dimitri stopped mid step and looked to Alexis. "What a shame to limit one's vocabulary based upon ones distaste and preference. But since we're friends, I'll abstain from using said word. But best of all, no bribes are necessary." He said before continuing onwards to deposit his chairs to the growing circle.
"It's not any different than limiting one's actions based on distaste and preferences, which most people would regard as okay," Alexis argued. She moved one of his chairs out a couple inches before pulling another into place beside it. "And thanks. I already owe you a favor, so at least we're not adding to the IOU pile here."

Madison smirked smugly as she watched Anuerin unable to stop his fall. "That will teach you. Let me know how that tarmac tastes, wouldn't ya." She retorted.

Ryker hurried forward and caught Anuerin before he made impact. "Not if I can help it." He murmured softly.

Madison sighed at the kid gloves treatment Ryker always used with Anuerin. "Now where's the fun in that?" She complaint under her breath.

Anuerin looked to his father in surprise as he prevented his fall, before quickly recovering and looking to Madison to glare at her; not angry at her for wishing him harm, but with the realization that she was not as smart a girl as he once concidered her. Ryker had saved Madison from a car wreck, and in return she gave him her loyalty. But Anuerin knew his father better than she did; she thought Ryker would never hurt her. The truth was, if she hadn't given him her loyalty he would have done something far worse than hurt her to gain her trust, he would have stripped her of everything and everyone she loved. Madison thought he was selfish, but Anuerin fought Ryker for one reason alone; to protect the only thing he every treasured more than his own life, Amaryllis.

Razeth closed his eyes slowly, completely at ease with Laurel and finally seeking the rest his body demand of him. (

"Non! You will just have to kill me." Leverett surmised stubbornly. Then with his one free hand, he grabbed her foot and yanked it out from under her. Hoping to throw her balance off and free himself.

Laurel listened to the steady rythm of Razeth's breathing before joining him in sleep.

Aralyn smirked as she felt her foot pulled from the ground; she had expected Leverett to fight her in some way, but his move had been undetermined. Sge enjoyed the challenge. Wrapping both her arms more firmly around his neck, she pulled Leverett to the ground with her. She let out a soft grunt as his weight landed untop of her, but her hold on him remained firm.

Dimitri saw the logic in Alexis's statement and grinned widely at her choice of words. "No, we wouldn't want to do that. IOU's should never be taken lightly, their very serious business. " He replied matter-of-factly. The laughter behind his eyes betraying his humor.

"Untie his feet so he can walk under his own steam." Ryker ordered Madison abruptly.

Madison sighed softly, but quickly did as she was instructed. She glare up at Anuerin with disgust all the while. She'd no sooner finished when Ryker's phone sounded.

Ryker motioned for her to take Anuerin aboard the plane. "Thak him and seat him in the back next to Ashton. Perhaps he'll behave better with her watching after him." He commented before turning to give them his back as he answered the call.

"Come on you flightless Dodo. The closest you're ever going to get to flying again is with the use of a plane. " Madison stated cruelly. She shoved him hard in the direction of the waiting plane as she drew her sidearm. She then started walking behind him.

(Yes, I thought I replied, bUT realized I hadn't)

(Oh, okay. I figured it was yes, but I wanted to make sure. ;) And sure on the time skip. )

Razeth slowly came awake with the lovely realization that he still held Laurel in his arms. He smiled warmly and looked to her to watch her sleep. Her beauty made all the more evident by the absence of her guarded expression.

"Mon Dieu! If I didn't know better, I'd believe you orchestrated this whole scenario just to achieve this end." Leverett surmised as he smiled down at her. Her hold keeping him from getting up, so he settled his weight completely upon her. "But for once I don't mind being thrown to the ground. Especially since you so selflessly used yourself to break my fall. That's very humanitarian of you, Aralyn." He taunted her with a wink. He moved quickly to encircled both of her wrists with his hands and started pulling on her hold. It was a last ditch effort to free himself from her grasp.

The majority of Alexis' focus was on the remaining chair now, deciding how to place it to get that perfect circle, but she was still listening to Dimitri somewhat. Picking up on his humor, she answered, "Hey, you said something funny! You deserve a trophy." She turned to face him and shoved the chair out in his direction. "Place your trophy on the podium, sir," she requested solemnly.

Anuerin watched Madison closely as she undid the bonds that were at his feet. With Ryker's attention directed elsewhere he wasn't sure that Madison wouldn't try anything. He stood, shakily, but denied the fact that his head injury was one that should be tended to. "You know nothing of the man my father is. Perhaps if he had removed one of your body parts you wouldn't be so persuaded to think highly of him." Anuerin whispered emotionlessley as he took the path Madison forcefully directed him towards. Anuerin's dark nature skillfully hid the signs that Madison's words had brought terrible memories to mind, but the reality of Ryker's prodecure burdened Anuerin to this day with pain; physical as well as mental.
