Ashton stared at Anuerin's insolent position for only a moment before she said matter-of-factly, "Ok, it's the hard way. Don't say I didn't give you a chance. " With lightning-fast reflexes, she grabbed both of his booted feet then pulled him out of his seat. She smiled triumphantly as she started for the door. She expecially took great pleasure in the thumping sound he made as she stormed down the stairs dragging him.

"Fine, fine." Anuerin groaned, gripping a ledge of a stair to slow Ashton down. He stopped before fully standing, head spinning.
(I'm just wondering, but how does a frog girl have the strength to pull a full grown man )

Alone in the street again, Haley continued on. Her ankles were killing her but she didn't want to stop till they had at least reached the tree line.

Amaryllis gasped softly as something was heard behind her. Looking back revealed it had only been a rat scurrying past them. Amaryllis sighed with relief, realizing how she tense she was.

"Now wasn't that so much easier? " Dyrus asked as he released her with a little shove. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a ten dollar bill. He flung it upon the desk with two fingers before Vasper and himself moved to leave the office. Dyrus made a point to pause at the exit before saying, "Use that to by as much gas as you can and burning this roach motel down." He then left,letting the door shut behind him.

As soon as the men left, the woman grabbed the ten and shoved it into her pocket, considering it compensation for the unruly few minutes she had just lived. The hotel didn't pay her enough, in her humble opinion, and they would never know it was missing if they never saw it.

Sophia noticed his sigh. She asked quietly "Zaiden. Are you ok.", concern on her face. She didn't want anything to be wrong, she had a bad feeling Ryker would come for them, so she wanted everything to be as carefree as possible now.

"No," he laughed, "I only burned myself on that one pan."

"In the flesh and why so literal. It's an expression, silly! Besides, I want you to meet someone. This totally cool chick here is Donella. Donella, Zaine. I know what you're thinking... really cool name, right?!" Andorra said with enthusiasm. She then craned her neck to see into the dorm room. "Hey, is Tigger here?" She asked absently.

Zaine was a bit startled with her giddiness. Earlier she had been, well, a lot less giddy. He looked to Donella and smiled byway of acknowledgement since Andorra continued with her blubbering.
"Tigger," he said the word as if it was a bad taste in his mouth, "is not here. I haven't seen him since we were all in the library. I think he and the cat went exploring."

Leverett at first didn't understand her question, but then smiled as realization struck him. "Mon Dieu, you mean my accent. It's because I'm French. Though I'm far removed from my home country, it is still my chosen language. Parlez-vous francais? That means, do you speak French?" Leverett said with enthusiasm.

"Really?!" She exclaimed in awe. "I don't speak French, although I wish I could."
