Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Alastor skillfully applied the tourniquet and found the vein to draw the three vials of blood needed for the tests. Once he was through, he held a cotton ball over the needle before withdrawing it. To which he applied tape to hold it in place. He picked up the tray and moved to place the blood vials in the separation spinner immediately. He then motioned for Laurel to come sit on the edge of the exam table as he turned on the operating light. "It's easier for me to see over here. Could you slip your shirt off your shoulder please. " He explained simply.

Laurel was quiet while Alastar took her blood. At his notion she stood, remaining there a moment to let a dizzy feeling fade, before moving to seat herself at the exam table. She then slipped her shirt far enough to reveal the wound at her right shoulder.

"Because he wants to experiment on her, but he can't do both." He answered as he stood and waited for his hands to be freed without reply.
Nova frowned and looked down, thinking about what he said, though it didn't sit well with her. She untied his hands after a minute, moving back to the door to watch him. "What if his experimenting is exactly what she needs to save her life? There are many species that can make humans better and more resistant to sickness or even deformity."

As the van pull up to the designated rendezvous spot and parked, the medic went to changing out the blood soaked dressings. He shook his head at the sight, before wrapping it with fresh ones. Once he was done, he called out to one of their group, "Hicks, give me you water. She's lost so much blood, she needs to hydrate. A few seconds later, a canteen was handed to him. The medic took it and opened it to offer it to Amaryllis. "Come on, you have to drink miss. It'll help sustain you until we can get you some units of blood." He said urgently.

Amaryllis weakly moaned in the agony of having the dressings on her leg changed. Taking the canteen as it was offered it to her she lifted the bottle to her lips with trembling hands, and began to drink the liquid, choking softly because of the trouble the water had traveling down her throat with how little her head was elevated.

"He's already refused to do what needed to be done to save her," Anuerin snapped, "she will die and he doesn't care."

Nova frowned but stayed silent at that. She wasn't quite sure what to make of that information. "He didn't let us die" She finally said after a while

Donella shrugged a little "I can track, but I don't know his scent from anyone else's"

"Then it's back to the batcave! Oh, of this case, OWLCAVE! There's bound to be something there with his scent on it. Right Zaine? " Andorra stated as she frowned in question.

"Oh. Well, we'll add that to the list for our little chef pal!" Alexis beamed.

Zaine, not much good at tracking on his best days, decided to let the felines handle this one.

Allen, feeling rather grand that he had been chosen over the guy next door on the hall of cells, drove the vehicle carefully towards the landing strip. Assuming there were cams all over the car as there were at the lab, he didn't quite put the pedal to the metal as he would have liked but he did speed along.

(That's where she is, right?)

"Nyet! Because then he'll have us right where he wants us. Slaves for food diversity. " Dimitri replied with a large measure of careful consideration.

(Yes, that's where she's still at. :) )

Ashton had had enough, she would do the walk of shame. It was better then groveling for a ride. She gladly left the dinky airport office and stormed outside.

"Thought so," Haley said with a nod of her head. She glanced around the rooftops then to the alley below before asking, "Is it just you? Where's your right arm, Vasper, was it?"

"Don't play coy, girl. It doesn't suit your obvious intelligence. When you split, so did we. However, it would seem Vasper has won our bet. He's already found his target. I don't think I'll live that one down anytime soon." Dyrus stated simply, as he focused upon Haley once again. "But I must admit, I lucked out getting the target I wanted to pursue to the end."

Alastor made a soft sound as he saw the size of it in her flesh. Ryker's description had barley prepared him for this cleaned up version of her wound. "It's looking much better, Laurel. You're now heading at an accelerated rate. A true testament to the severity of the wound when you first arrived. Does it hurt when I do this?" He asked as he felt around the staples for an further infection by way of the building up of puss.

"Here, allow me to assist you." The medic said as he bundled up a jacket from the floor and leaned her forward enough to slip it behind her. "There, that should help make drinking much easier."

"My dorm?" Zaine asked, confused as he typically was in Andorra's presence.
-----
"Huh?" Alexis wrinkled up her nose in thought. "You don't make sense sometimes. But I guess I don't either," she said with a shrug.

Spotting the lone figure in the distance, Allen pressed a little harder on the acceleration. As he neared her he suddenly turned sharply to the left, making a few donuts before coming to a stop in front of her. "Pizza delivery!" He said as he rolled down the window.
