Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"Don't play coy, girl. It doesn't suit your obvious intelligence. When you split, so did we. However, it would seem Vasper has won our bet. He's already found his target. I don't think I'll live that one down anytime soon." Dyrus stated simply, as he focused upon Haley once again. "But I must admit, I lucked out getting the target I wanted to pursue to the end."
As she had thought. Haley looked away momentarily as she thought about Amaryllis. She wanted to ask for details, wether Vasper had hurt her or anything, but now was not the time. "To the end," she murmured. "Has Ryker sent you to kill me?" She asked boldly, meeting his gaze.

Ryker was glad when they landed. He closed Amaryllis's file and slipped it back into his secured compartment next to his seat. As they came to the private hangar section of the airport, Ryker noticed a van waiting for him. It had taken them a bit longer to arrive due to the storm that was fast approaching. "I want you to stay here Madison. To ensure no one tries to come aboard. Do you understand the importance of that? " He asked her as he stood to go. Madison nodded and looked poignantly to where Ryker's files were being stored temporarily. "But of course I do. You can't have those falling into certain hands." She replied softly. Ryker reached out to squeeze her shoulder as he walked past. "That's my girl. I'll be back as soonas possible." He said with anticipation as he walked to the door Richard was busy opening. Before he disembarked, Ryker looked up at the turbulent sky. Rain was on the way and with it, all evidence and trails would be washed away. he thought as he headed down to steps to the waiting vehicle. He got in the passenger side and looked to Jarvis as he pulled away and started filling him in on everything that had happened. Ryker listened quietly as he looked out the window.

"My dorm?" Zaine asked, confused as he typically was in Andorra's presence.
-----
"Huh?" Alexis wrinkled up her nose in thought. "You don't make sense sometimes. But I guess I don't either," she said with a shrug.
-----
Spotting the lone figure in the distance, Allen pressed a little harder on the acceleration. As he neared her he suddenly turned sharply to the left, making a few donuts before coming to a stop in front of her. "Pizza delivery!" He said as he rolled down the window.

Andorra sighed softly and asked with a grin, "Isn't that what I said? "

"I've come to embrace out differences and enjoy the game of deciphering the meaning in our unique patterns of speech." Dimitri replied with a mischievous light in his eyes. "But if you want it in plain speech, here you go. No, I do want to owe the cook for anything else."
~~~
Ashton was taken off guard by the high speed maneuver, but she'd stood her ground. When she saw Allen, a broad smile lit her dark expression. "Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes. But sadly, I didn't order a pizza. Does that mean I don't get a ride?" She teased back.
Dyrus meet her gaze and shook his head, "No, I ment to the end of the chase. Ryker's displeasure was not with you, but Anuerin." He then tipped his head slightly and asked, " Do you long for such finality? Is that why you ran with him?" The sound of distant thunder announced a storm was brewing on the horizon. But Dyrus didn't look away from Haley, he was interested in her reply.
"Yeah, I guess. I was half listening," Zaine shrugged. "Dimitri's got plenty of stuff in there if you're looking for something to pick up a scent on."
------
Alexis tipped her head first hard to the right, then to the left, stretching out her stiff muscles as he talked. "Ahh, understood. We'll just have to learn to embrace cold french fries and whatever the 'chef' decides to throw at us that day, then," she said, sighing softly.
-------
Allen gasped. "You didn't order a pizza? Well I'll be. Coulda sworn the directions I was given led me here. Alas, I guess I'll just have to return," he said dramatically, yet he reached across the seat to unlock and open the passenger door for her.
Haley stared hard at him before answering. "I'm not so pathetic that I wish death," she stated firmly. "I ran because I was told to."
Donella listened to them talk, waiting for them to go back to the room again, She wasn't in a rush after all.
Dimitri grinned widely at Alexis and nodded with her dramatization, "But then there will be Creme Brûlée to cut through that cold grace slick upon your abused palate. Dare I say, the silver in the silver lining, my dear? "
Ashton smiled and hurried around to climb inside. As she shut the door and buckled up, she looked over to Allen, she said softly, "Thank you."
"Good! I didn't take you for a quitter. Or somebody who would blindly follow somebody without reasons. I'm disappointed if you did. You showed real promise Haley. Don't throw that all away because of a whiny brat who doesn't fully understand the truth of his sisters condition." Dyrus stated while his eyes were still locked with Haley's gaze.
"You know, I can hear you," Zaine muttered.
-----
"Feeling mighty wordy today, eh?" Alexis laughed at his wording. "And yes, I suppose there's that to be grateful for," she agreed.
-----
"No, it is I who should be thanking you," Allen argued. He settled back into his own seat then put the vehicle into drive. "Because if you hadn't been left here, abandoned all by your little ole self, I would still be in my palace of a cell singing the ABCs backwards to myself," he explained cheerily.
