Elliot's skin tingled at her touch, and kept on kissing almost subconsciously. He felt her tail around him, reminding him that their romance was not one fully human, but rather animal and human. He cherished every second of the kiss, wishing it would never end.
Zoe felt much the same way, moving a bit closer and wishing the kiss would not end, until she heard the crackle of the bag and pulled back from the kiss to look down, breathing quickly. She closed the jar and put the food back in the bag then turned to hang it on a limb nearby before meeting his eyes again
Elliot didn't talk anymore. He was dumbfounded by his good fortune and what had just happened. He just looked into her eyes, those glimmering eyes which held his love. He was a liar for saying he would never love. He was a liar saying there wasn't space in his heart for others than himself. He whispered, as he scooted against the log, staring into the distance "I think there was a reason you said yes today, to hanging out. I think there was a reason for us to come to Ryker's stupid mansion. I think it was so we could be here, right now."
Zoe flushed and dipped her head again, leaning against his shoulder now. "I guess so, I know that fits with today, though I am not certain I like to think that we had to lose our sisters to meet one another."
Elliot said softly "We will find them together. I promise, lynx and fox, together. Prince and princess." He took her hand, and stood up to face her standing up. Once they were standing, he took her in his arms and cradled her, kissing her forehead, and sitting down. He said softly "The prince has found the princess".
Zoe smiled when he took her hand, standing with him then letting him cradle her close before he sat down again. She curled into him, raising her head to kiss him again as her arms came up to wrap him in a hug.
Elliot cradled her softly, just enjoying the silence of the moment. After a few minutes of silence with shared affection, he said quietly to her "Is my fox princess doing alright?" He combed her hair once again, calmly and slowly.
"I feel wonderful." Zoe said with a smile, enjoying even him combing her hair like that. "Are you alright?" She asked softly, moving one hand to brush against his cheek
Elliot kept stroking her hair, before replying "I'm doing perfect. With you here and all." He smiled down at her, saying "I can't believe how good this day's been."
"I like it. What do you think Amara? Is it a winner?" Dimitri asked curiously.
