Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

(Just bumping this for @NickyKnack to make it easier for her to find when she has time. :) )
(Thanks! :hugs I appreciate your patience and understanding. )
(Glad you liked it, I was laughing as I wrote it out, just seemed to fit the bill. BTW she has no memory before confinement with Ryker and I left it open ended so it could be from her subconscious shutting out painful memories or it could be something Ryker did. Your choice if you want. ;) )

Eliana gave an exasperated sigh, "But you people created me in the first place." With that she dropped the subject, it would just go round in circles like it usually did. She laid there and stared blankly at the ceiling unsure what else she could or should say. Yes she wanted freedom but she didn't trust anyone here. About the only thing she trusted was that they didn't want her dead, because if they did she probably would be by now. "How about you loosen the restraints and I will attempt not to hurt you? Sound like a plan?" She asked looking at his tired expression.

(I was trying to have her be on good behavior but now your making me self conscious and I feel like I am going to have her act out now...we shall see.)

Layla smiled back at him, happy that he wasn't weirded out by her comment. She really had no tack but that didn't seem to faze Leverett. She had done her best to temper herself since their talk about feeding the good wolf. But to be honest he made it easy when it was just the two of them, she suspected adding more people to the mix would probably make things worse or at least harder for her. "You're welcome." Layla said simply to his remark. As they exited the house she glanced at him, "Which way is it?" She asked curiously.

Adrian wrapped his arms around Willow and allowed her to bury her face in the crook of his neck. "Its ok, I would probably miss them more if I didn't have a friend like you to keep me company. And you have no family to care for you, so you have a right to be selfish. If you like I can be your surrogate family." He said warmly as he pulled her back from him so he could look in her eyes. He wanted her to see that she should not be ashamed and that he was ok with who she was.
(Ok, cool. We'll see where it goes before we commit to one or the other. :) )
That surprised a laugh out of Alastor. "How can I resist such a kind offer. " He replied with a bit of humor. But aginst his better judgment, he moved forward room do just that. He wanted to believe her more then anything, he he rationalized internally.
°•°•°•°•°•°•
(No, no. That wasn't my intent. I only ment, Leverett doesn't know what she was like. He's just Maki yang observation on his time with her. That's all. )
"It's just past the gardens on the far right. " Leverett said as he looked to the far off horizon. "I think we'll make it with plenty of time to spare." He said as he gauged the time they had before sunset.

As he pulled her back for his candid scrutiny, Willow flushed with the intimacy his gaze held. She smiled meekly and mentioned casually, "Wold that not be weird? I mean, well.....I .......umm, want to be more then pretend brother and sister. If you don't object, that is. I'd like to try my hand at a committed relationship. Would you like to be my boyfriend, Adrian?"

Alexis looked curiously around the room, taking in the different games. "Ooh how about foosball?" She suggested, moving over to the table.

"You're too sweet," Haley said gently as she seated herself beside him. Pulling her legs up under herself, she turned to face him. "You really are. Thank you; I don't know what I've done to deserve you." She looked up from her lap to meet his gaze. "Sorry for pulling you out abruptly earlier. It's just, I'd rather keep this—whatever this is—between the two of us, for now. Like you said earlier, this is a first, for you as well as me, and I want to play things safe. You know?" She bit her lip nervously as she awaited his reply.
Dimitri looked at the strangeness of the contraption. "But I don't have that many hands. Is there a trick to it?" He observed aloud. He didn't know how to play, but was interested in how.

"I understand completely. Besides Haley, I'm not well liked around here. The henchmen of Lord rabbit laboratories is a title earned. I wouldn't want to paint a target sign on your back by association. Where anyone gunning for revenge aginst me would achieve it by going through you." Dyrus said he glanced around cautiously. He then met her gaze and smiled sadly. "So what of Anuerin? Does he know you're not longer pining for him? Or are you still trying the waters before deciding for certain?" He asked guarded.

Amaryllis shook her head. "I can't eat." She admitted almost as a soft moan. The previous feeling of hunger was replaced with a pain in her chest that was much more unbearable than the first. She rested her head on the table, and encircled her head within her arms. She closed her eyes and patiently waited for the pain to cease.

Anuerin stared blankly across the room, allowing his fears and regrets for his decisions consume his attention.

Laurel smiled broadly with the realization that Razeth accepted her for who she was. Unlike everyone else in her life, Razeth did not correct or conform her character. Instead he embraced it, and that made her love him even more.

"No." Cyra replied, her voice suddenly low. "He, was, my brother." She explained further, knowing Indigo wouldn't let the subject go without being fully answered. She reached out to grab hold of the picture, staring at Indigo as she waited for him to let go.

Ioans fist clenched around the paper. What did Ryker want from him? Did he expect that this action would build a sense of security between the two? He couldn't persuade himself to believe that Ryker had taken this man's life with good intentions. Afterall, his son's death didn't completely hang from the general's neck. It was Ryker's evil experiments that prepped his son for an untimely death.
Vasper straightened as he watched her. "Amaryllis, are you alright? Do you need help?" He asked as he looked around. He frowned as he saw Dyrus and Haley gone. But focused back on Amaryllis anxiously.

Ryker watched Anuerin discreetly, wondering where he was at in his mind. The exasperation and tears hinting at not a pleasant place. He stood up to give Anuerin the privacy he'd sought out. His presence here, now becoming awkward. Ryker flinched as his phone vibrated. He took it out and read the text. "Package was delivered without incident. "

Indigo held on just a moment longer, before relaxing his hold to let her reclaim the drawing. "Was as in no longer living, or simply separated?" He asked further. Suddenly curious of Cyra's past life.

Donella returned to her bed, grabbing a book off her desk on the way to read it while she waited for Andorra to return
(XD)

Zaine, with a book tucked under his arm, finally emerged from the library. It had taken a while, but he finally found a decent book and was now headed to the cafeteria to get a snack to accompany it with.
Andorra hurried to the cafeteria and loaded up two trays with the best they had to offer. Satisfied with her choices, she started back for Donella's dorm room. She fairly hissed when she happened upon Zaine. She hid to keep from him. She wasn't in the mood to play nice to that fat headed, Pampas feather plucker!

Ashton sighed at being lectured by Gideon. She turned to continue on to were she'd been headed. But she wasn't hungry now. So she decided to go down below and find where Allen was. He didn't scold her for being her. Why couldn't Gideon see, she was just protecting him? She thought angrily.
☆⊙☆⊙☆⊙☆
Gideon stared after Ashton. He couldn't believe what she'd almost done. He was still upset about the calculation she'd used and the what if's alone. He'd never seen that side of Ashton before and he wished he could forget it. He'd always wanted to believe she couldn't so easily use her toxins on another, but who was he fooling, Ryker had trained her to be that way. He shook his head sadly, their relationship would never be the same. Another illusion lost to the harsh reality of their circumstance. He thought as he headed down the hallway.

(Hey, I've missed you. How are you doing?)
Amaryllis shook her head gently. "There's no reason to get help, I don't think there is anything Ryker can do for me." She answered very quietly, not having the energy to raise her to look at Vasper while she spoke to him.

Anuerin was very deep in thought for a long period of time before he refocused his vision on his surroundings. He then realized was again alone.
•○●□■□●○•
(Did you see my post on Laurel? If you did, and wasn't sure what to say we could time skip to when they're eating.)
•○●□■□●○•
"No longer living." Cyra replied shortly. She took the drawing to place it somewhere more safe than where Indigo had taken it.

(Busy. I was mowing yesterday and ended up doing yard work all day. I had my bathing suit on and kept hosing off just to stay cool. Needless to say I over did it and started feeling sick with a mild heatstroke. :hmm I got dehydrated despite the amount of water I drank and my electrolytes were off, but I'm feeling better now. Thanks for asking. :hugs And how have you been?)
▪○●□■□●○▪
" I don't care I'm not taking the chance." Vasper informed as he stood to scoop her up into his arms gently. He had to get her help.
▪○●□■□●○▪
Ryker stepped out of the elevator to headd back to his lab. He really had to complete the data on Amaryllis. To many distractions and so little time.
▪○●□■□●○▪
(No, I flaked and didn't answer it. Sorry. )
Unknowing of her thoughts, Razeth felt very much the same way. He been fighting aginst conformity for so long, that it wasn't until Laurel that her found an easy acceptance in her loving embrace.
▪○●□■□●○▪
"Did you just sass me?" Indigo growled angrily as he glared at Cyra.

(I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you've learned your lesson about being careful with the sun :hmm Take good care of yourself! I'm good, sunburned but good :p )
Amaryllis breath caught as a rush of pain overtook her. She wrapped her arms around Vasper's neck, and focused on her breathing which was made difficult with the pain that was in her chest.
•○●□■□●○•
(You're fine ;))
Laurel sighed contently, and gently moved from Razeth to stand on her own. "Shall we eat?"
•○●□■□●○•
"I don't want to talk about it." Cyra stated, returning the glare.

"You move, silly," Alexis said with a grin. "Like so." She then showed him as she moved the ball between her side.

"I know the risk," Haley said softly. "But it's one I'm willing to take as long as we manage this carefully. As for Anuerin, a single coping mechanism can't get us all through here," she added, wincing slightly at his choice of words. "I needed something to focus on; a reason to keep going. He provided that. It was naive but necessary, and as far as I know, one sided. I hope you don't think me insincere in us, because honestly, I'm entirely over any thoughts of him."
