Ryker and Dyrus navigated to the front doors, with Haley holding them open, they breezed through and Ryker was relieved that Nova had already called up and the elevator. The door open and waiting on them. Unfortunately, Leverett was beginning to wake up again. Ryker rushed to his side to ask questions on the ride down.

Nova stayed close, worried for Leverett and wanting to help him if she could, even if that was only in the 'run and fetch' type of help. She really needed to learn some first aid stuff eventually.

( I get owing on stuff, I have more things to pay off then I have money. But we are slowly digging ourselves out. In another year I will have most things paid off except mortgage and student loans. I hope you get that business sorted out with your car. )

Layla nodded her head, she understood he couldn't give her assurances. She just had to trust that it would all work out. Ryker was brilliant and Alastor was one of the best, granted few doctors she knew. If anyone could help Leverett it would be these two men. She waited in the lab anxiously for them to get there.

Lucy squealed excitedly when Donella shifted again. Oh yes, so much cuter than a kitten. "You're quite possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen," she said, then quickly added, "and I don't mean that to be creepy at all."

Donella mewed again then looked to Andorra before moving. She stood, walking to the side of the bed to jump down then walked over to stand between them, giving both the chance to pet her fur if they wanted to.

Andorra giggled and eagerly took the opportunity to pet Donella again. She scrubbed her chin and behind her ears affectionately. "Isn't she sooo soft?! I'd get a Louis Vuitton and walk her around in it if I could. Look out Hollywood here I come!" She said ridiculously.

Haley moved to the side to not get in Ryker's way. At the elevator, she headed for the stairs. "I'll meet you down there," she called over her shoulder. With the gurney and three other people in there already, she decided she could be of more use going on ahead to get doors and alert Alastor to their arrival.

Donella mewed again then looked to Andorra before moving. She stood, walking to the side of the bed to jump down then walked over to stand between them, giving both the chance to pet her fur if they wanted to.

Andorra giggled and eagerly took the opportunity to pet Donella again. She scrubbed her chin and behind her ears affectionately. "Isn't she sooo soft?! I'd get a Louis Vuitton and walk her around in it if I could. Look out Hollywood here I come!" She said ridiculously.

Lucy reached out without hesitation and ran her hand lightly along the kodkod's back. "Ooh! She IS so soft!" She agreed. She twined the thick tail between her fingers.

Ryker took note of Leverett's answers and looked him over tentatively. Once those doors were opened, it was good time. X-rays first, MRI later after he was stabilized. He had a bone sticking out of his leg so it was obvious that was broken. At the ding, Ryker nodded to Nova to get the foot of the gurney as the backedge out of the elevator.

Alastor heard the elevator ding and rushed to the hallway. Asking in medical jargon what was needed of him. Ryker answered in kind.

Dyrus held back as the doctors took over. He looked down the hall and waited for Haley. He was a nervous wreck. Now the waiting was the worst part.
