Layla saw Leveretts enthusiasm when Nova arrived and winced as if she had been slapped. She needed to get out of here now, like five minutes ago if she didn't want it to get ugly. She knew she wasn't in the right frame of mind to be here for her friend and she wanted to leave before she did something stupid.

She rose from her chair stiffly. "I need to go, I will see you later." She said to Leverett and she winced as she realized how it came off. The whole time her eyes were fixed on Nova and not in a good way.

Nova shook her head then looked to Layla, frowning a little before looking back to Leverett "Not this time, I just came to see if you were awake yet. I still have to eat and write up a report or two, but I will come back later." She said then looked back to Layla again "Can we talk a moment?" She asked then waved to Leverett before stepping back out into the hallway.

Leverett smiled softly and looked to Layla as she announce she needed to go. "Sure, I understand. Thanks for watching over me." He said quietly. He frowned slightly at the expression upon Layla's face as her focused on Nova. When Nova asked to have a moment, his concern only grew. He waved with his good arm to Nova and watched Layla closely. What was going on? He wondered.

Amaryllis struggled herself for conversation as she walked along the hallway. "No. I didn't have more dreams at all." She replied happily.

"Oh." Laurel answered shortly, glancing to Razeth with a mischievous grin.

"Oh? No dreams are good idea guess. I'm glad you got some rest. So.....how's your brother? Is he still in the Infirmary?" Vasper asked quietly.

Nova shook her head then looked to Layla, frowning a little before looking back to Leverett "Not this time, I just came to see if you were awake yet. I still have to eat and write up a report or two, but I will come back later." She said then looked back to Layla again "Can we talk a moment?" She asked then waved to Leverett before stepping back out into the hallway.

Leverett smiled softly and looked to Layla as she announce she needed to go. "Sure, I understand. Thanks for watching over me." He said quietly. He frowned slightly at the expression upon Layla's face as her focused on Nova. When Nova asked to have a moment, his concern only grew. He waved with his good arm to Nova and watched Layla closely. What was going on? He wondered.

Layla was about to leave when Nova asked if they could talk in the hallway. She tensed this was not good, she was holding it together for her friend and she was barely doing that. She twitched slightly, you can do this, she said to herself. "If it is necessary." She growled out, yeah she was not holding it together at all. Her control was crumbling around her she hoped this was going to be a quick talk. Don't kill the bird, don't kill the bird, the bird is his friend too. She chanted in her head as she followed Nova into the hall her eyes fixed on her back with an intensity that was not healthy.

Liam walked into the lab with the food Ryker had ordered from the kitchen for Leverett and Layla. He passed Nova and Layla on his way in and shook his head, the way Layla was looking made him think there was going to be a beat down in the hall. He hoped not this place needed a little less excitement he thought. He brought the food into Leverett and helped sit him up in a more comfortable position to eat before heading over to Ryker to see if he needed anything.

"So. Much. Word." Allen sighed loudly as he shook his head at her. "It's a wonder Gideon stuck around with you this long," he teased.

"I know you didn't," Haley said softly. She closed her eyes as she moved her hand up and over his shoulder, pulling him closer. "Now tell me, would you like to go confront Madison in a rational manner, or is there something else you'd prefer to do?" She asked, hopeful he wasn't still set on finding the lioness. But she was still concerned about the black rose and its giver.

" Says you! But it's too late to take it back." Dimitri teased childlike.

" Don't mention the Dumsta Dude, Allen. I'll kick you out of the frog cave." Ashton stated with a growl, which was pretty good for a frog.

Dyrus pulled back to meet her gaze. " I wanted to watch the sunrise, but didn't know if you liked coffee, tea or hot cocoa. But it's too late now. So it makes no difference now. Let's head to town and spend the day there. There's bound to be something fun to do there. I can't face Madison right now. I'm just got to have to go to Ryker with this. Maybe he can talk some sense into her." He replied honestly.

Allen just reveled in her irritation. He was a button pusher if there ever was one, and he was taking way too much pleasure in pushing hers. But, so far so good. She hadn't kicked him out yet. "What am I allowed to mention, then?" He asked. "No secrets, no your favored pasttimes, and no Gideon!"

Smart choice. Well, safe choice. "That sounds wonderful," Haley said honestly. She pulled away to go grab a pair of boots from her closet. "Breakfast there or here? I haven't eaten a thing yet."

"I haven't seen them but I passed Alastor on my way down and I believe he saw them in the Library earlier. Its a big step for them they are probably just checking everything out. Do you need anything?" Liam replied as he stood near the counter where Ryker was working. He was always a bit intimidated by him but he was easy enough to work with as long as he did what was asked of him.
