Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Donella sighed softly and nodded "It is perfect" She agreed then started eating her meal. Quiet, calm, peaceful. That's what this place was for now.
Strangely enough, Donella's quietness had an effect on Andorra. She didn't feel compelled to babble senselessly. She listened to the birds and the gentle wind that blew across the wall to play at her hair.

(I can't tell :) )
"Half, of a salad." Amaryllis added, returning his playful gaze before turning to look for a seat.

"Cotten-headed ninny muggin!" Laurel blurted out with fake disgust.
"Oh, my mistake. I would really even call that food." Vasper teased her just to be contrary.

" Pardon me? Is that the best you can do? Am I even supposed to take offense to that?" Razeth asked between the chuckles that erupted spontaneously at her response.

Aquene heard more movement and instantly looked up. Looking around for the creature, she eventually found him, a cute red panda. She put her book down beside her and in a childish manner stated "Awww you're cute aren't you?" She smiled at the panda, hoping whoever it was wasn't scared easily.

Elijah wiggled his nose a bit at her mention of him being cute, but she had a point. He was made into one of the cutest darn critters in the world, absolutely non threatening in any way. He often wondered why Ryker would make him this way but he supposed he would never find out now. He moved into a better position and rotated his paws to better climb down the shelf until he was perched on the floor. Once there he looked up at Aquene, assessing her a bit better from the ground. He chose not to shift just yet, he wanted to see what she would do now first.

"See ya! It was nice to meet you Elijah." Willow said in parting. She then grinned devilishly and said reassuringly to Adrian, " I'm sure there's no permanent damage or I would have offered to kiss it better." She purred as she offered him a grape.

Adrian opened his mouth for the offered food with a grin. "sweet heart you keep talking like this you are going to make me blush." He said with a chuckle as he took the grape and swallowed it, giving her a charming smile.

Leah sung again, this time a bit softer. She focused on calming down, she didn't want to embarrass herself in front of seemingly nice people like him. She felt some shame in admitting she liked him, after all men had done to her, but she would be cautious.

William decided he had run enough for one day, not to mention he could always go for an afternoon run if he needed more. So he turned back and headed along the trail in the woods back in the direction of Leah. He wondered absently if she would actually still be there. He thought she might have mentioned it more to be polite and nice, but he wasn't sure she would actually still be there. As he neared the location where he had left her he slowed to a walk so he wouldn't trip over her again.

"Ha! I'll believe that when I see it, house cat." Dimitri teased as he started to get scrambled eggs and sausage.

The reply was not what he was expecting as a Hostess Twinkie flew across the room and smacked him in the back of the head. " How about a snack cake pelting? I've got plenty more where that came from." She said with a sweet smile.

"Oh good! Because the smell just made my hunger ten times worse. " Dyrus said with enthusiasm.
Alexis quieted long enough to focus on the food selections. At the end of the line, she grabbed a glass and handed one to Dimitri as well. "Did Andorra and the little kodkod go up already?" She asked discreetly.

A smile slowly spread across Allen's face upon impact. He bent down to pick the cake up. Turning it over in his hand, he kept his back to her as he slowly and quietly tore the package open, talking while doing it. "You call this cake?" He asked incredulously. "These things aren't worth feeding your dog. They're made of heaven's knows what, Not to mention that taste absolutely disgusting!" At the word disgusting, he turned and threw the unwrapped cake hard, aiming for her face. Not bothering to stay to see if it hit the mark, he grabbed the bag of cheese sticks he'd had his eye on in the refrigerator then bolted for the door.

"Well we'd better order fast before you die of starvation," Haley teased.

Leah was now sitting up, staring out over the horizon, wondering whether he would come back or not. She expected the answer to be no, after that incredibly embarassing performance she had put on earlier. She decided that she would confront her fears, and try to have at least a conversation. She reminded herself none of the men here were in the trafficking business, which calmed her down a bit. She grabbed her scarf which was laying on her lap, and wrapped it around her neck, before looking around, spotting William. She got up and smiled at him, deciding to venture pat her comfort zone and walk closer to him.

Aquene kept smiling as he descended from his perch high up. She whispered softly, "Come here. I won't hurt you. You're too cute for anyone to hurt." She held out one hand for him to get more comfortable, her inner child having completely taken over.

Atalanta emerged from the water, just long enough to catch her breath before diving back under. Iris was quickly gaining on her, but she was enjoying the impromptu swim anyway.

(That works :) )

Lucy laughed lightly at that. "Now you better pray you get a good one, otherwise you're doomed, buddy."
Iris pushed herself to the mac and quickly reached Atalanta, taggingher foot, then turning around and swimming back to shore, not knowing what Atalanta's next move would be.

Victor nodded, replying "Doesn't matter. If he annoys me, I'll just beat him up." He smiled a bit at the last part, indicating it may or may not be true.
