Liam was about to say something when she abruptly turned a corner and he still having the momentum and trying to follow ran face first into the wall. He backed up a step and rubbed his face a bit before looking after her. Now how had he managed this feat he wondered, paying too much attention to the teeth he thought that must have been it. And now he had gone and embarrassed himself by face planting into a wall. "I uh, this corner, uh I totally meant to do that. So you were saying, oh right you being the only bat hybrid that makes sense. You know that makes you pretty special, Ryker must have big plans for you." He added as he hurried to catch up.

Samantha bit down the grin that threatened to show so she wouldn't embarrass him further. She really hadn't intended that he actually run into the wall. "That's what I've hoped as well, only so far, it's been mostly low-key, petty missions. For now, I'm just crossing my fingers I'll get something worth mentioning." She didn't mind the little stuff, as long as that was what everyone was getting—but it wasn't. She'd seen files and a report here and there from others, namely the ones keeping her from the top. It only drove her to work herself harder and perfect her techniques.
When they arrived at the gym, she pulled the door open then stepped inside, breathing in the scent of cold equipment and working bodies.

Iris looked at Priam, letting him answer before her. She wanted to be polite, letting him talk first. Besides, she had food in her mouth.

"Can't," Priam said simply, before taking a large bite of food to prevent further conversation.
Atalanta shrugged; she was used to this. "And why not?" She pushed. She took a swallow of her drink, keeping a stern eye on him as she waited. Gosh, how long could he seriously chew.

Iris looked to Priam, also interested to hear the answer. She wondered if Priam really liked being around them or not, maybe he liked it more chill.

Leah smiled, before asking "Would you like to share it. I would love that." She added with a small giggle "Or do dragons not eat bread, only gold?"

He grinned as he sat down and laid out a small cloth and before putting the bread down and unloading his bag. He took our various fruits, a pad of butter, some cheeses and cold meats as well as some nuts and a few granola bars. "Oh I eat bread, I eat a whole lot of things so I made sure to bring a large amount and variety with me. Sit eat with me, I brought enough to feed an army." He said with a grin as he held out his hand to pull her down to sit next to him. He didn't know if she would take it but it was kind of like a challenge line he wanted to know where she stood on things.

Aquene thought about it, before responding "I'm probably going to skip my first class too. I barely slept last night, it was too hot in my room." She added "But you can walk with me to my room if you'd like."

"Sure I would like that, I can head to my room afterwards. I hope you get some rest, I personally like a warm room when I sleep. I know everyone says your supposed sleep better in a cool room I just can't do it." Elijah said as he got up and held out his hand to help her stand before heading towards the exit of the library. He wondered if he would have a room mate now or not.

Leah smiled, shyly and delicately taking his hand. She let him softly pull her to the ground, smiling shyly to him as she reached the ground. She didn't know what to say after that, she was still a bit bedazzled after taking his hand, another step for her. The fact she had a crush on him helped, and that he was funny and smiled much.
