Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Liam snapped back to the current conversation when she spoke and glanced over to her from his bench. "Well I suppose yes, thank you for that. " He said with a nod, lost in his own thoughts. He looked at her as she started her exercises. "Do you think Ryker would let me get a cat?" He asked curiously, he knew she would probably not have an answer to that he was more just bouncing the idea off her. He liked cats, he had one for a time before coming here and he missed the companionship they offered. He had thought about getting one for sometime but was unsure how to approached the subject with his boss.
His question threw her off guard for a moment as it was not something she would have expected to here hear. She released and pulled the band gradually as she considered a reply. "I don't think he would personally deny you a cat, but for its own sake." She glanced to him with a look of distaste. "This isn't exactly the ideal home for a normal feline, if you know what I mean."

Liam nodded sadly, he wasn't sure how happy a cat would be in his room alone. He wasn't sure it would be safe for the cat to wander the mansion, not with everyone who lived there. "You are probably right, my luck someone would eat the poor thing. I just miss having one is all." He looked at his hands then before looking up at her with a smile as he remembered his last cat. "The cat that I had during nursing school was named Princess Mittens, she was the best. She kept me company during my school years." He told her, he knew she would probably laugh at the name but he hadn't picked it. She came with the name from the shelter and he had kept it.

"Well i don't know about perfect but I am glad you think so. Pilfering goods from the kitchen is simple enough and I do it often. I think I have a nice stash of said goods in my room already. And its always nice to spend some time with others. This place can get boring at times, especially when your alone all the time." He added the last part more for her then for him. He found her fascinating, she was a complex mix of nervous and caring and he wanted to figure her out. Push her comfort zone a bit and see what she was really made of.
Leah responded a bit quietly "I don't mind being alone. I don't like being around a lot of people at once." Leah took another sip of water, responding even more quietly "It reminds me of back then.", an obvious allusion to her being in a room with many other humans for sale.

Samantha guessed he was serious, so she refrained from inappropriate comments or faces at the story. "You could always get a plant," she offered lamely. She had, admittedly, longed for something to keep her company on some occasions and had managed to snag some succulents from the gardens. They made no mess, required little help, and listened but didn't talk—much like herself.

Iris smiled at that, asking simply "What time are you done with your client.", adding a tone that made fun of her slightly at the word client.
Iris probably wasn't making money from clients so she let the teasing slide. "It depends on what she wants. She only mentioned it a few days ago, and I've hardly seen her since, so I don't have much detail to go on," Atalanta explained. She furrowed her brow slightly as she recalled the brief conversation. "I'm sure I'll be done by supper, though."

Liam chuckled but gave her a smile at the suggestion. "thanks but I have never really been much into plants. Besides a plant won't sit in my lap and purr while I pet it, not really the same. " He looked up at the ceiling for a moment before saying aloud more for himself then anything. "Maybe I can convince Ryker to turn me into some sort of cat and I can purr and pet myself." He then sat up quickly as he realized what it sounded like and slammed his palm into his forehead. "Just pretend I didn't say that." He replied with a groan.

Elijah gave her a smile, "Well thank you I like to think I am not boring but its always nice to have confirmation." He said with a smirk as they walked towards the rooms. "So what class you skipping? I am going to be missing out on physics, but if I am honest with myself that is because the class is beyond boring. I already no enough physics to be able to pass the class with my eyes closed so going everyday seems moot." He added with a smile wondering which she was missing.
Aquene responded with a blush "Study skills." She laughed, before responding "Im not to good at school management, but I'm getting better. All As and Bs this year." She laughed, at the stupidity of her class.

Iris nodded, before asking "Want to have a meeting place or something?"

"Same as with people who claim to be smart," Allen said, frowning sligtly. "Chances are, they're only dingbats. Or people who claim they can sing. Plug your ears and run." He chuckled lightly.

Haley unrolled her silverware and set it neatly to the side of her plate. "This looks amazing," she said, inhaling the aroma.

Ares sauntered off, swinging his backpack up over his shoulder as he went and shooting glances at the females that looked his way.

Emily inclined her head towards him. "It was very nice meeting you, too," she said, with a gentle smile. "But please, there's no need to go hide yourself. It was a simple accident that's not worth you missing classes for."
Alexis stuck her tongue out in disgust. "Blah, I'll leave history to the oldies. It was never my forte, anyway. But thanks for the compliment dear." She glanced over her shoulder to give him a toothy smile.

Ashton snagged and said, "Everyone has an angle, I suppose. " She glanced around the hallway before opening the door to the wine cellar.

Dyrus chuckled, "Wait until you taste it. You'll dream about them." He said with enthusiasm.

Roan fidgeted a moment before saying, "I fell in juice miss Emily. I need to change my clothes. I'm already a laughing stock. I won't add to it. "

Dimitri snorted at that, " Well then, if my age is such an issue for you, I'll just have to stop playing with you, won't I? Besides, I'm a firm believer that age is a state of mind, not a number attached to your file." He replied as he turned into the cafeteria.
