Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Victor pretended to take notes during class, but in reality he was simply writing his poem, carefully writing out line after line. This was going to be a long one. He always started with the title, choosing "The Killers", and began writing about instincts of predators, starting first with the eagle, then the raccoon. He kept on with the predatory instinct line for twelve lines, then started a new stanza, the first stanza:
"Cruel of heart, killer by nature,
Beasts, bloodthirsty and vile.
If only one would care to destroy the mask,
Then only would his observations be worthwhile.
Beneath it is love, and care for young ones,
Not darkness and murder that one expects,
But the mask we put on them,
Makes them monsters, which we accept."

(I'm not the best poet lol, but I had to try something. Plz apologize my poor poetry:p, Victor would be disappointed at this.)
(Aw it's good :clap )

Lucy looked up from her note taking to glance at his. Only, there weren't notes. She caught only the title then quickly averted her eyes, assuming he was doing something personal. Shifting slightly in her seat, she returned her gaze to the teacher but her thoughts were far from there.

Victor continued writing, until his first poem was finished. It was about thirty lines long. He sighed, writing Part 1 next to the title. More parts could come as he ventured out to the real world later that day. With that, he just began pretending to take notes, he would have to do his homework by rereading the lesson. As the teacher cast a disapproving glance towards him, Victor put his papers away, so they wouldn't be confiscated.

Willow smiled contentedly at Adrian's high esteem her. It had been a long time since she'd looked forward to somthing. But as they approached his room, Willow got serious. She popped her knuckles and neck to loosen upshould it comes to blows.
(Indigo is at Cyra's door waiting for run wild. So he's gone.)

"Andorra you'd be right. Long story, the short version is, I'm a klutzaround females. " Roan admitted openly. He then stepped into the bathroom to get a damp washcloth to wipe down his arms.

"Actually, not far off from yours. Except the grappling wall is Incorporated in mine. I'm very good at climbing. " Irine replied pleasantly. She stepped into the elevator firth when it arrived.

Adrian stopped at the door and listened, while it still smelled like the lion he didn't hear anything inside. He glanced at Willow getting herself ready for battle presumably, he found it amusing but when he saw how serious she was he decided he would always try to stay on her good side. He imagined she didn't make for an easy opponent. "I don't think he is in, thankfully." He said before unlocking the door and opening it. He looked around the room before stepping in, it was clear. He moved for his things and began making sure it was all packed up.

Elijah chuckled at Roan, so a girl was involved. He was so going to have to get the details later, either out of Roan or someone who witnessed it. He moved to his bed and sat down leaning back against the headboard as he glanced to the bathroom. "Well not everyone can be a smooth operator when it comes to the ladies. It happens to the best of us though so I wouldn't worry to much about it. You going to class after or are you hiding out for a bit?" He asked curiously, he wouldn't mind the company if he opted to hide out for a bit.

Harper stepped into the elevator after Irine and pushed the button to take them up to the floor with the gym on it. "I have heard you are quite the climber, it will be interesting to see in person. Do you mind if I take notes if I decide too? I am compiling my own personal thoughts and ideas on some of Rykers works, I find how he incorporated the DNA and various traits the way he did. If it makes you uncomfortable that is ok as well, it makes some people feel weird." She asked, she didn't want to overstep her bounds, she always liked to ask before including people into her notes. She wondered if she would mind, it often told her much about the person depending on their response.

Liam headed into the gyms personal bathroom which had some small lockers in there as well. He had one that he kept somethings in so when he came by but hadn't stopped by his room he had some items to change into. He put on his swim trunks and and grabbed a towel before heading out to the pool. As he passed by the gym he glanced back to Sam on the balance beam, she was interesting he would have to try and chat with her again after he got out of his mood. He headed for the pool and set down his towel before putting his googles down over his eyes and diving in. He then pushed to the surface and began doing brisk laps down the length of the pool. He thought about his place here and how he had come to be here. She had made such light of his past misfortunes but in a way she had been right. They were in the past and didn't effect him any longer even if it did shape the man he had chosen to become. He needed to let go of that time and move on, stop brooding over his mistakes and learn from them like he had before.

Leah smiled, finally daring to look up again, a rosy hue still on her cheeks. She replied "You're too kind." She scooted to sit a bit closer to him, not knowing she made it awkward. She was just trying to accustom to talking to humans again."

William smiled down at her, look who was being brave, while he imagined she thought of her actions in a different light then how they could be perceived. He looked out at the sea beyond the trees and beyond, he was surprised she did so well here. It was easy in a place like this for someone like her to get taken advantage of, he hoped that never happened to her. "So what do you usually do in your free time little lady?" He asked curiously with a smile as he looked back down at her, She had to have more to her life then just hiding out here.

Samantha watched him from the corner of her eye as she climbed up onto the beam. "See ya," she said, hardly audible but she didn't care to repeat herself. Closing her eyes, she set one heeled foot in front of the other and took a few steadying breaths. She couldn't fall, not again. The gym was pretty empty since most people were still in the dining room, but that almost made it worse. One mistake and the few people would surely glance her way. Her heartbeat sped up considerably as she opened her eyes and in one swift movement pushed herself forward and did a cartwheel. She loosed her breath as she pivoted on her heel to do the same thing back.
When she tired of the beam, Samantha dismounted and headed for the bars. She was more confident here, and it was more enjoyable, too. Made doubly so by the tunes she now went to on her iPod. Pulling her hair up into a ponytail, she inserted her earbuds and turned the music up loud, locking herself in her own inner world as she worked. A good many of the hybrids were natural climbers and gymnasts with their particular given DNA, so she prided herself on her own developed skills that she had built in the years here and before. The EP faded out as it finished and she was about to select something new when she remembered her appointment. She dropped to the ground and checked the time. A good deal past. Did Atalanta even remember it herself? Samantha shook her head. Either way, it was way past, so she would just send a message and get back to her later.

Zaine sighed softly, relieved that Andorra hadn't told him off yet, or eaten him. Especially the latter. He sat down on the wall, glancing over to calculate just how far the fall would be if fell, before turning his attention to the girls. Wasn't this just dandy. He had come up here for alone time and fresh air, but apparently he'd only be getting one of those. But he couldn't blame them, and besides, they were here first. "Are you planning on staying up here the whole day?" He asked curiously, to break the silence and hopefully the ice.
"Andorra is only skipping first, I am not going back to classes." Donella said quietly

Areum's eyes widened and she gasped as Rowan reached for her. Her face soon melted from surprise into pleasure, as she was back kissing Rowan. She wrapped both of her arms around his back, holding him tight as well.
Rowan kissed her for a minute then pulled back and looked at her. He didn't let go of her because he didn't want to.

Leah thought for a second, before replying, "I like singing, so I often sing out here. Then I go jogging sometimes, also I go swimming. And then when the court is empty i try to play basketball, but I'm really bad. What do you do?" She looked over to him with her genuine interest, to learn more about her new dragon friend.
