Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Allen only laughed harder as she built up her defense. "I'm just messing with you, Missy," he said. He wiped the tears that had formed from his eyes. He hadn't laughed this much in ages and it felt good, and being around her was good, because it made him laugh. At her expense, usually.

Haley turned to look at him. "I just never bothered, for multiple reasons. At first it just seemed cruel, taking a small bite of what I would never have fully. You know?" She shrugged. "Eventually I pretty much forgot this all existed."
Ashton raised her chin and crossed her arms. "Oh? Well you seem to enjoy laughing at me. I'll be sure to remember that when I mess with you, Allen." She said with a measure of delight.

"Fair enough. Guilt is a powerful motivator. Regardless, I'm glad you agreed to come to town with me today. It makes it all the more special." Dyrus said with appreciation.

"Yes, very much so," Allen said, not even pretending he wasn't. "No matter what you do to me, it'll be worth it."

"Does it count as guilt if it's the truth?" Haley sighed. She'd never been quite able to work that out in the past, and it didn't seem any more obvious now. She shook her head; it didn't really matter. "Thank you, for inviting me. It's been good so far, and I'm glad to see more of this place with you."

Liam helped her up and watched her go to get a towel. "Your welcome on both accounts. Did you enjoy your work out?" He asked as he walked up to her curiously. He had a feeling he made her a touch uncomfortable although he couldn't for the life of him figure out why.
Samantha shrugged, her back to him still. "Enjoyable as much as workouts can be," she said. She dried her face carefully with the corner of her towel, keeping it wrapped securely around her for warmth as she gathered her things. "Pool was a nice change to my routine. I can see why you enjoy it so much. I ought to do get in more often, but it usually escapes my notice since it's not in my direct path coming or going."

Layla listened to him as he spoke to her. She could tell he was being honest with how he felt about it all. And the logical side of her agreed but she still couldn't help but feel guilty for it all, accident or not. She looked at her hand where it laid grasping his, this was all very new for her. This friendship, these feelings, guilt was something she had never felt before. She looked back up at him, he had much more experience with such things then she did. While she didn't know that she could free herself of all the guilt she felt she accepted that at least there was nothing she could have done. She finally looked him in the eye and nodded. "Very well, I understand it was an accident. I still feel responsible however I doubt that will go away right away. I am certainly not letting you go near anymore cliffs. " She added with a small smile as she squeezed his hand. Any picnics from here on out would have to be someplace safer.
Leverett chuckled and winced slightly at the discomfort of his bruised ribs. "Oh, rest assured Layla, going near cliffs is not on my to do list anytime soon. " He said with conviction. He squeezed her hand affectionately to convey his appreciation for all she'd done for him. "Thanks for being such a good friend to me." He added with sincerity as he held her gaze.

Adrian grinned back at her, she would be the death of him for sure with a smile like that. "Keeping smiling like that and we will never get to class today. I am missing creative writing, not terribly exciting either. Perhaps we should just wait in your room until its over? I am sure we could find something productive to do to pass the time." He gave her a wink and let her imagination run wild. Of course she had no clue that he was being completely innocent in his mind and just added the wink to tease her.

Harper nodded and smiled back at Irine as she came out and began her warm up. She looked to Priam as he came closer, what was he doing? She gave him a nod as he approached, "Are you planning on getting some time in this afternoon Priam?" She asked him trying to read his expression and body language, he had a fair amount of tension that she didn't like. As Irine was close enough and looked to be curious she opted to be polite and introduce the two. "Irine this is Priam, Priam this is Irine she is from the cells. Brought her up for a bit of exercise." She added as she looked back and forth between the two.
Willow smile deepened with a little mischief. "But Adrian, I could be quite creative in the span of that classes time. Shall we see what outlandish stories we could come up with?" She fairly purred as she stopped to unlock her door.

Irine smiled and dipped her head in acknowledgement of the introductions. "Nice to meet you Priam. Are we to spar together?" She asked curiously.
