"It's alright, what's your name?" Michael asked "I am Michael Young." He said then glanced around, motioning to a chair "There, you can move that closer, but stay out of biting range. I don't know how this virus will affect him recognition of you or anyone else."

"Alex," Alexis said. She moved the offered seat a little closer but not too close, sensing the seriousness of the situation. "When did this happen exactly?" She asked, nodding to Dimitri.

Michael looked to her then shook his head a little "He has a fever and whatever this virus is. He seems to have been healthy before this."

Casey nodded and smiled at her "We have to be careful with him, sometimes when he wakes up with this fever, he still thinks he's fighting" He said, but turned to walk to the office with her so she could see him for herself.

Amara felt bad for Dimitri and hoped he would pull through this alright. She didn't have many friends, or at least she didn't used too. But now she had some friends and she was not ready to lose them so soon. She linked her arm around his happy to have Casey in her life, she wanted to hold her hand but she didn't know if that was to forward or the wrong thing to do. So she settled for linking her arm with his as they walked.

Leah smiled at his words, rapidly intaking the honesty within them. She was about to turn to play a last game of chase when he reached for her hair. She stood still, silently eyeing him as he did so, as if in a trance. She submitted herself to him, lowering her head ever so slightly, which might’ve not seemed like a big deal, but for her it was. Letting someone touch her was a huge trust in that person, after all her former mishaps in life. She kept her eyes locked on him throughout the whole exchange, sensing he was having a hurricane of thoughts in his head. She was about to ask if he was doing alright when his hand slowly ran down her jaw.
She quivered slightly, trembling at his touch. She screamed inwardly, reasonably sure she knew what was coming, the men who had abducted her often had tried to kiss her on the lips. And her prediction was right, as her crush of a day kissed her, which she allowed, with no resistance, except for light shivering. As their lips touched, like a chain reaction, her cheeks flushed red and her hands flew to her lips after the kiss to certify it had just happened. She was always used to being very indirect when it came to dating in her little town, so this was a huge leap. She didn’t know what to say, so she kept her mouth shut, looking at the grainy sand floor beneath the clear water, her face still a rose color, before whispering in a voice of content disbelief “You kissed me.” She had cracked it open, finally. There had been all those years where she had blocked out everyone, and he showed up one day and made her remember how to want.

Leah looked up into his eyes, explaining softly “I’m sorry for telling you much story. And for keeping you around. I...just haven’t had anyone to talk to in months, so it’s stayed bubbled inside.” She looked down meekly, commenting in a quiet voice “But it was one of the best things I’ve ever done.” She looked back up at him, tears of joy in her eyes after being closed in by herself for so long; she had always wanted to do something like this:spend a day with someone.

Zaine shrugged. Considered the question for a moment. "Fantasy and fiction, I guess would be my preferred genre." Well that was two. "Genres," he corrected himself. "What about yourself?"

Samantha could tell he didn't really want to go back in there, so that contributed to her decision. "Sure, I'd love to meet the lass. But I don't think Alastor would like us left alone, ya know, in case we get at each other's throats, so maybe it'd be best if you stayed within the room." She started moving that way before he could change his mind.

Lyra smiled, "Same actually. The only thing I would add is Historical Fiction. Sometimes its interesting to see what some people can come up with based off of the facts of past historical events. Do you have many friends here? I am fairly new, only been here a few months. " She replied looking at the floor. She was not shy per-say but she was often quiet at first when meeting new people. And she didn't often make the first step and just say hi to everyone, so making new friends was often difficult for her at first.

Liam groaned and rolled his eyes, she just loved putting him in positions he didn't want to be in. He moved into the lab after her and spotted Eliana where he had left her, in the corner on the swivel chair clutching her tea mug. Her eyes snapped to him and Sam as they stepped into the room and she let out a growl.

"Eliana meet Sam, sam this is Eliana." he said making the introductions before leaning against the wall next to the door. Quick get away in case he needed it. Sam could probably handle herself if Eliana attacked so he had no grand ideas of trying to step in and save her if it happened.

Eliana watched them a low growling coming from her throat as she did. What was he doing back? And why did he bring this Sam in here? Was she some sort of attraction now, like a zoo? Her fingers clutched her mug even tighter and the ceramic mug cracked slightly but didn't break.

Alastor took the tray over to a waiting Ryker and set it down for when he was ready. Ryker took the the syringe and started infecting in the major arteries and veins first then moved on to lesser ones. The results were evident with in minutes. The deep purplish blue gave way to yellowish, then perfectly healthy looking tissue. The swelling also started subsiding. Ryker marveled at the sight before his eyes as he finished up with the last of the transfusion. "Astonishing....I have no words. But Astonishing.

Alastor was equally speechless as he looked over to Amaryllis with a whole new respect and admiration. "Esto es un milagro." He whispered.

Ryker looked to Harper and said, "Keep an eye on her vitals. I think we're safe, but until she regains consciousness, we're not out of the woods yet. Now, if you'll excuse me." He stood and went to Amaryllis.

Alastor getting the message it was to be a private conversation, stepped away a discreet distance to busy himself elsewhere.

"Yes? What is it sweetie?" Ryker asked as he felt her forehead. "Have you hydrated today? You must medicate with water or you'll have a relapse." He asked concerned for her.

Harper was in awe watching Amaryllis blood go to work in repairing Irene hand. She had heard that it had helped before with its incredible regeneration properties but she had yet to see it in person. She grabbed her note book off the counter and began furiously writing notes and observations as the hand healed, she wanted to make sure she didn't miss a thing. She snapped out of her note taking when Ryker told her to keep an eye on Irene vitals. "Of course, should I set up an i.v or is that pretty much not needed at this point?" She asked the question to both Ryker and Alastor as she could see that Ryker and Amaryllis wanted to talk to each other.
