Dimitri huffed and shifted without moving from his side. Once in human form, he sat up slowly as to not disturb Alexis. " Where am I and who are you?" He asked with a dry throat. "Could I possibly get some water please?"

"I understand." Anuerin stated stubbornly. "I can do this." He then whispered, reassuring himself rather than Ryker.

"And I, you," priam said, smiling gently. "If it's okay with Harper, maybe I can bring you something to eat later? From the dining hall, not the quick meals they whip up for you down here."

Allen glanced to the board and debated about dragging it out with a dramatic flair, but he didn't care all that much. "Yeah, okay, you win."

"Maybe I am," Haley said, smiling mischievously. "You have a point. But we can just say we left baby home that day." She beckoned to the plant as she spoke. Yes, this was totally ridiculous, but their lighthearted joking was just too much fun to stop.

Samantha peered through the small window in the door of the main lab. Seeing both Liam and Harper, neither one looking particularly busy, she pulled open the door to enter. "I'll take a number two with a side of waffle fries," she said with a forced smile as she strode up to the table they were clearing. "Hey. Um. Are you both busy? I can come back later."

Liam looked up when Sam came in and returned her smile, although his came easier then hers did. "See you couldn't resist. Sam this is Harper, Harper, Sam." He said as he went back and forth making the introductions. "And no we are not too busy right now." He said putting his rag down.

Harper looked at Sam and sized her up. Liam had a habit of getting into trouble and from the sounds of it this one had managed to get him into a lot of trouble. However from a scientific stand point she was very interested in Sam given her adaptations, as well as her unique needs. "I assume your here for blood?" She asked taking in her appearance.

Vasper smiled as she snatched the bag. "I foresaw that happening. That's why I bought out two bags. One for you, one for me." He said as he got the other one and opened it with a chuckle. He was enjoying himself and when he did, the voices were absent.

At her questioning tone, Alastor looked to Eliana feeling remorse for his words he'd spoken when upset. "It's hard to keep from wondering where you're from. But it sounds like a good idea to live in the moment and look to the future. As far as becoming better friends......what I said before, I said out of hurt Eliana. I didn't mean it. I'd like to be friends with you as well. As close as our friendship can be with our current roles here." He added almost as an offer thought.

Layla noticed the other bag and for a moment thought of taking that one too and seeing what would happen. But thought better about it, knowing she couldn't take Vasper at the moment. "Smart man, explains how you managed to be at the top of Rykers favorites. " She said with no hostility. She was not jealous, she looked at it more as something to aspire too.

Saskia frowned thinking about that for a moment to figure out where they could get some. "Perhaps the garage would have some, we can check it out, if not I am sure it will have some paint that we can use instead. Did this Allen look like a blue or green?" She asked jokingly as they approached the stairs.

Eliana frowned a bit, she wasn't sure she fully understood what he meant about their current roles effecting their friendship. But it was the best she was going to get given her circumstances. "Good to know, I would like us to be friends." Her mind took a dark turn and she wondered something, and her curiosity wouldn't let her not ask it. "If Ryker asked you to put me down, or do whatever it is he does with his failures, would you do it?" She asked, she had a feeling she knew the answer. And if he said yes she couldn't really hate him for it, Ryker was his boss.
