Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Lyra nodded and followed him down the hall. "Hmm well where would he go, there are the recreation type rooms, I assume you already checked your room. Is there anywhere he liked to go to hang out?" She asked to offer her help.
"He wasn't in our room when I last checked in to put my bag away, but he may be there now." Zaine really had no clue where the man liked to hang. Until a few hours ago, it was with Alexis, and the pair were easy enough to find by the noise they made. "Game room?" He finally suggested. They could at least check and narrow their options.

Samantha flushed at his comment. She couldn't resist because she was dang near starving. "Nice to see you, Harper," she said, with a blunt nod. Nice if she was about to get something to satisfy her hunger, otherwise it wasn't too nice. "Yeah, I came for the goods. Sooner rather than later, if at all possible." She swallowed hard. Met Harper's gaze, almost a challenge as she noted the woman looking her over.

Harper looked at Sam, holding steady eye contact, so she was one of those. she had no desire to go through a challenge of wills so she simple asked her how she wanted her blood. "I assume you want it warm?" She asked as she turned and headed to a small fridge at the back of the lab.

Liam looked at Sam for a moment before shaking his head. "I know you wanted some space but you shouldn't of pushed it so long." He said with a sigh, stubborn woman.

Michael shrugged and shook his head "From what we can figure out, you were attacked by another big cat and had a fever. Something that other cat gave you, but it's not a virus I've ever seen before."

"A virus? Now that's ominous." Dimitri replied as he reached up to his neck and touched his bandage. "Then I'm lucky to be alive then. Especially since big cats asphyxiate their prey to death. Either that or my attacker was interrupted. Were was I attacked exactly? I last remember speaking with the vice principal. After that, it is a blur." He said as he looked to Michael.
The voices surfaced Alexis from her dreams and they became clearer as she woke. She opened her eyes just briefly to confirm what she thought, that Dimitri was awake and had shifted. Rather than make known her alertness, though, she closed her eyes back and stayed still, hoping to hear what was being said.

Lyra nodded, "Alright we will start there. Are you close with your room mate?" She asked to fill the silence and to get to know who this man was that they were going to find better.

Layla noticed the other bag and for a moment thought of taking that one too and seeing what would happen. But thought better about it, knowing she couldn't take Vasper at the moment. "Smart man, explains how you managed to be at the top of Rykers favorites. " She said with no hostility. She was not jealous, she looked at it more as something to aspire too.

Saskia frowned thinking about that for a moment to figure out where they could get some. "Perhaps the garage would have some, we can check it out, if not I am sure it will have some paint that we can use instead. Did this Allen look like a blue or green?" She asked jokingly as they approached the stairs.

Eliana frowned a bit, she wasn't sure she fully understood what he meant about their current roles effecting their friendship. But it was the best she was going to get given her circumstances. "Good to know, I would like us to be friends." Her mind took a dark turn and she wondered something, and her curiosity wouldn't let her not ask it. "If Ryker asked you to put me down, or do whatever it is he does with his failures, would you do it?" She asked, she had a feeling she knew the answer. And if he said yes she couldn't really hate him for it, Ryker was his boss.
Vasper shrugged and mentioned, "Ruthless. I'm the ruthless one. Dyrus is the smart one. That's why we make a good team." He took another swig from his root beer as he propped legs up on the table's leg support.

Madison paused as she thought about that. "I think perhaps green would best suit him." She said as she finally arrived at a decision. "Maybe the gardener's shed? " She asked curiously.

(That's what he ment by that. Doctors vs patient.)
Alastor set down his coffee and looked to Eliana candidly. "In such a circumstance as that. I would impart upon Ryker that we haven't exhausted all of our options and encourage him to see your potential. But that is deflecting your question. I have not, and will not ever put you down. I took an oath to save life, not to take it. I may not have much, but I do have my integrity." He said with conviction.

Samantha hesitated for a moment. Either way sounded good. "Lukewarm," She said, relaxing her stance as she leaned against the counter. "Pushed what? My people time?" She rolled her eyes. There was a fine balance there she was still figuring out for herself, twenty four years into life. It would be easy enough to blame her pushiness earlier on that, but exhaustion wasn't entirely to blame.

Zaine lead the way, setting off at a brisk but smooth gait. "Eh." He shrugged. "He's a decent guy, but he's got a draining presence and a loud mouth. We've settled our differences enough that we won't kill each other—not soon, anyway—but for the sake of my sanity, I can't hang around with him and his cat long."

Michael shook his head "That was before I got here, all I heard was 'in the hall'" He replied

(Lolz, multitasking, didn't think to go back and check what he said)
Priam turned cherry red at her comment. "Yeah, it's not problem. I don't have anything much to do tonight anyway," he said, trying to play it down. Atalanta would probably jab him and accuse him of downplaying too much.

Allen dropped down on his knees beside the board to put the pieces away. "Welllll, what do you want to do? You're the leader of this excursion, after all."

"I thought Vasper was a carnivore," Haley pointed out, chuckling softly. She moved the plant aside so she could get out without knocking it over. "But I concede. No sign, no babysitter, no trouble. Let's just hope she doesn't overheat in the car."
"What a coincidence, my schedule is wide open." Irine said with a smile. His blush was hard to miss. It was something she hadn't expected from a strong male like himself. It somehow made him more personable and less intimidating.

Ashton stood a day dropped down on the floor to help. " You really shouldn't answer a question with a question. It doesn't become you. But if I'm the leader of this excursion, than I believe in fair play and am courteously offering you temporary leadership. Know what would you like to do? Anything within reason, of course. Let's be realistic." She said concisely.

Even dogs eat grass. Don't worry, I'm going to leave the windows down. No one is going to take the car. It's an island, where would they go?" Dyrus informed as he put the power windows down. "There! Better?" He asked with a big smile over the roof of the car.

William grabbed his things and then turned to wait for her. "You ready to go? You never know what awaits us in the forest." he said with a grin and a sweep of his arm. He was admittedly a bit excited for this exploring with her.
Leah smiled shyly, like she always seemed to do, waiting for him to lead her around. She immediately got lost in the verdant emerald void surrounding them as they entered the forest. The sounds of the ocean faded as she entered into her element, the quiet of the peaceful forest.
