Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Vasper shrugged and mentioned, "Ruthless. I'm the ruthless one. Dyrus is the smart one. That's why we make a good team." He took another swig from his root beer as he propped legs up on the table's leg support.

Madison paused as she thought about that. "I think perhaps green would best suit him." She said as she finally arrived at a decision. "Maybe the gardener's shed? " She asked curiously.

(That's what he ment by that. Doctors vs patient.)
Alastor set down his coffee and looked to Eliana candidly. "In such a circumstance as that. I would impart upon Ryker that we haven't exhausted all of our options and encourage him to see your potential. But that is deflecting your question. I have not, and will not ever put you down. I took an oath to save life, not to take it. I may not have much, but I do have my integrity." He said with conviction.

Layla looked at him, yes she had heard about that trait in him. "Well you two are quite successful, though I have yet to actually see you two in action. I have heard enough stories to hope that if I do ever see it I won't be on the opposing side." She said simply, it was the truth, not just because she didn't want to fight him but also because she knew against the two of them she would lose. "Have you and Dyrus been together your whole time here?" She asked curiously.

Saskia smiled at her friend, "Alright we shall check the garden shed and then the garage! Then we get that poster from Gideons room and our task shall be complete. Now I just need to find a man and then we will be set." She said with a laugh.

(I know, I was just playing the part. :D )

Eliana was surprised, that was not the answer she had expected. She met his eyes, so that he would see her sincerity. "Thank you for that. I will try not to let you down." Eliana looked around his lab then as she thought about all he had said to her that day, good and bad. She hoped she could at least help him be less lonely, maybe she would even read one of those medical journals he had mentioned before. "Lets go outside." She turned back to him, fixing him with a bold, almost challenging look.

(Alight then ;) )
Anuerin moved his head to the side so he could have enough vision sphere to see what Ryker had left to do. "No." Came a more reliable answer.
"Alright " Ryker replied as he moved his instrument tray closer to the operating table and picked up a scalpel. Taking it and cutting around the scared incision, he went to work.

Anuerin moved his head back so that he was looking forward. He doubted he was mentally capable of watching Ryker perform surgery. He erased the image from his mind by using his focus to keep still.

"What a coincidence, my schedule is wide open." Irine said with a smile. His blush was hard to miss. It was something she hadn't expected from a strong male like himself. It somehow made him more personable and less intimidating.

Ashton stood a day dropped down on the floor to help. " You really shouldn't answer a question with a question. It doesn't become you. But if I'm the leader of this excursion, than I believe in fair play and am courteously offering you temporary leadership. Now what would you like to do? Anything within reason, of course. Let's be realistic." She said concisely.

"Even dogs eat grass. Don't worry, I'm going to leave the windows down. No one is going to take the car. It's an island, where would they go?" Dyrus informed as he put the power windows down. "There! Better?" He asked with a big smile over the roof of the car.
"See ya," Priam said, smiling slightly as he turned away. He slipped his hands in his pockets and pivoted on his heel to leave. When he neared the trio across the room, he paused at the door. "Hey Harper, is it okay if I stop by later with supper for Irene?" He asked hopefully. It would save her having to do it.

"Fine, fine, fine," Allen said, shaking his head. "Bossy woman. If you insist. Let's see, within reason..." He stroked his chin as he thought hard about what to do. They'd already visited the pool, dining hall, Ashton's lair. "Is going outside within reason?"

Haley smiled at him from across the car roof. "What if they wanted to take our baby and fly away? These people here have wings, some of them, ya know."

Samantha hesitated for a moment. Either way sounded good. "Lukewarm," She said, relaxing her stance as she leaned against the counter. "Pushed what? My people time?" She rolled her eyes. There was a fine balance there she was still figuring out for herself, twenty four years into life. It would be easy enough to blame her pushiness earlier on that, but exhaustion wasn't entirely to blame.

Zaine lead the way, setting off at a brisk but smooth gait. "Eh." He shrugged. "He's a decent guy, but he's got a draining presence and a loud mouth. We've settled our differences enough that we won't kill each other—not soon, anyway—but for the sake of my sanity, I can't hang around with him and his cat long."

Harper pulled out a pouch and heated it up slowly while the others talked.

Liam shook his head, "I meant you waited too long to come down and eat." He folded his arms across his chest and looked at Sam. "Well I suppose you coming down at all is better then nothing. " He said with a sigh, he still wasn't sure she was the best presence in his life as far as friends went. But she was one of the few here that even talked to him, and he admittedly had only met her earlier that day. So he was going to withhold judgement for now.

Lyra understood what he meant, big personalities and all. "I suppose I should be happy then that I don't have a room mate. Well my room is always quiet so you are welcome there anytime." She said as she picked up her pace to keep up with his much longer legs.

Victor did the same thing, hitting the puck back as hard as he could towards her goal, directly this time. He was concentrating o the game now;he was going to win, somehow.
Lucy giggled—distracting herself in the act—as she tried and failed to block the puck. Her smile didn't fade. "What's one out of ten. You can't beat me yet, mister."

Leah smiled shyly, like she always seemed to do, waiting for him to lead her around. She immediately got lost in the verdant emerald void surrounding them as they entered the forest. The sounds of the ocean faded as she entered into her element, the quiet of the peaceful forest.

William walked quietly through the forest, taking in the smells and sights. He loved seeing how the light came through the trees, creating dappling across the ground. " How about you take the lead, you know the forest better then I do." He said simply handing over the reins of their adventure to her.

Harper looked over at Priam when he called out her name. "Absolutely, just let yourself in and be mindful of how loud you are if Leverett is resting." She said with a smile as she waved to him as he left.

"Thanks, and I will," Priam said. He left the lab and went in search of his sister.

Samantha frowned at his explanation. Well she was here, wasn't she, and that's what mattered. "Is Eliana still next door? Did the doctor calm her?" She said, changing the subject.

That sounded nice, having your own room. "Thanks," Zaine said, smiling gratefully. "The library is a nice hideaway, too."
