Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"Thanks, and I will," Priam said. He left the lab and went in search of his sister.

Samantha frowned at his explanation. Well she was here, wasn't she, and that's what mattered. "Is Eliana still next door? Did the doctor calm her?" She said, changing the subject.

That sounded nice, having your own room. "Thanks," Zaine said, smiling gratefully. "The library is a nice hideaway, too."

Liam noticed the change in direction of the conversation and just followed the new path. "Well there was some sort of fighting between them, then it seemed to calm down in there. Niether of them have come out so they either are both dead or they worked it out." He said with a smile thinking how that fight would go. He would have normally said Eliana would win but having seen how mad Alastor got he had a new found appreciation of the man.

Harper pulled the pouch out and opened it pouring its contents into a glass and headed over to them, holding it out for Sam. "There you go lukewarm, let me know what you think." She said with a small smile.

"That is the other place I end up a lot too. Surprised I haven't bumped into you sooner. " Lyra said with a grin, she meant it literally, he wouldn't have been the first person she had run into. She had run out of fingers to count how many, teachers, other students, heck she had even run into Ioan once.

"Considering its either who we're hunting or the mercenaries that trail after us, not many get to see us in action. But I see a lot of myself in you. The way you destroyed that punching bag, I almost did that to a trainer. That's when I first met Dyrus. He pulled me off him and threw me on the floor. Then sat on my chest and held my neck down until I came back to myself. He's been my alpha and friend ever since. How many years is that.....I lost count." Vasper replied quietly as he played with the root beer cap on the table.

Madison smirked triumphantly as she pointed out with a big cheesy smile, "Saskia you're agreeing with everything I say. I don't even think there is a gardener's shed. I'm playing poke-a-bear and you're letting me. I..." Madison frowned as someone grabbed her shirt to stop her.

Eirik smiled through the slot in his door. "Tell your friend I'll be her boyfriend..... if she let's me out of this cell for a bit. I know you have lock picks with that little B & E you did back there. " He proposition.

Alastor asked surprised, "Right now?" He frowned as he thought about it more. "Why not, right now. Let's go! No time like the present." He said as he got up with purpose. He smiled warmly and looked to Eliana feeling so much better about things between them.

Layla listened to his story, she didn't want to tell him that she had nearly done that to many people as well. Only difference is she didn't have someone to sit on her until she got it under control. "Alpha huh? So how does that work, he tells you what to do all the time? Hey if it works maybe I need one." She said the last part jokingly but she had to admit that if it worked and it wasn't servitude that it probably would help her a bit. It seemed to be working for Vasper, she wondered absently what would be required for someone to be her alpha. She imagined that she would have to have a certain amount of trust in that person, Leverett came to mind but she didn't know how he would feel about her asking such a thing. If it was even something you could ask about.

Saskia frowned, "Well how should I know if there is a gardeners shed, there is a garden so it makes sense. This bear is gonna poke you.." She trailed off when she heard a mans voice as he grabbed Madison shirt through the door. Saskia growled, she wasn't fond of other people grabbing her or her friend without permission. But when she heard what he was asking for she stopped and just smirked. "Well Madison what do you say, your the one with the lock picks?" She then leaned against the wall next to the door with a grin. "You know we found my man pretty easily, I didn't even have to do anything!" She laughed.

"Yes right now, lets live dangerously. Well maybe not dangerously but lets just go." Eliana smiled at his purpose and got up to follow him. She liked the doctor, he was not what she had expected. She had met him how many times for tests and never once stopped to think of him as a person. She was happy she finally had. As they got to the door she paused looking both ways nervously. This was however the freest she had ever been since coming here. Then She remembered she was with Alastor, he could probably take her anywhere and not be stopped.
(Eliana is going to get the good doctor to loosen up a bit! Wow that sounds a bit dirty now that I think about it. I'm going to leave it, that way if for some reason we decide to have them become a thing later on I can say I told ya so. :lau But don't worry I ain't saying lets do that they would probably be the most dysfunctional couple ever. )

"Oh well that's good," Samantha said, smirking slightly. Turning to address Harper, she gave her a more genuine smile now. "Thanks," she said, giving her a thumbs-up before taking the glass. She rotated it between her thumb and forefinger, swishing the contents around a moment before taking a swallow. It was thick and warm and tasted a heck of a lot better than the last one—cow, was it? She turned the thumbs-up into a perfect sign as she took another large swallow.

"Yeah? I usually stick to the quietest part of the library. Less people to have to talk to and move around." Zaine smiled as he talked, please to have finally found someone with whom conversation came easily.

(think this group got dropped, and these are the last posts I see, so...)

Ares snorted at Adrian's comment. "You're a horse? I didn't realize Ryker was wanting to return to cavalry warfare," he said jokingly.

Adrian chuckled at Ares joke. "Hay I never asked about the whys of it all. For all I know maybe he just wanted an alternate means of transportation." He said with a smile as he polished off his salad. "Besides I couldn't give Willow here free rides if I wasn't a horse so I am happy with my animal choice." He said as he looked over at her.

Leah silently took the lead, weaving in and out of the tight spots of the trees contentedly. She headed in the complete opposite direction of the one she would take to get to her normal quiet place higher up. She wanted to find somewhere where she could be just with him. After about ten minutes of silent walking and enjoyment of the quiet forest, she reached what seemed to be a bit of a swamp, which was nothing special. But something else had caught her eye. Beyond the swamp and to the left of some palm trees, was a small pool of clear freshwater. She smiled and turned to show William with a point of her finger.

William smiled watching her in her element as he followed her for a change. When they stopped he looked where she pointed and smiled. "Well I have never seen that before, lets go check it out." He said excitedly.

Liam chuckled watching her drink blood like a glass of milk. "Yeah I just hope nobody got hurt." He said after a while thinking about whether he should go check on the doctor.

Harper smiled when Sam gave her the thumbs up. "Its synthetic, based off of human blood and manufactured here. That is the synthetic A-, we have all the blood types, well most of them. Glad you like it. Let me know if you have any strange side effects or reactions, or if you find it lasts longer or not as long, that sort of stuff." She said as she made a few notes in her notepad.

(Aww how cute they are bonding, lol. )

Lyra smiled, "There are a lot of quiet places in the library Zaine, there doesn't seem to be too many here who actually like the place." She said with a chuckle as she huffed out a breath. Man how did he walk so darn fast, she wondered absently if she should just shift and ride on his shoulder, then she would be able to keep up at least.

Leah moved some branches out of her way and gasped at what was before them. It was beautiful. A beauty that maybe she could only see, because she appreciated nature so much. There was pond, shaded by the towering trees, craning down as to guard the place. Beyond the pond was a beautiful view of the cerulean waves of the ocean. She loved it.

William came into the clearing around the small pool of water, well this place was a find. He saw a reasonably flat rock by the water and moved to sit on it, he took her hand as he did and pulled her down next to him. "You found us a great spot, its beautiful." He said smiling down at her, he could tell she loved the place too.

Samantha watched the deep red liquid run down the inside after she set the glass down. "You sure synthesize well," she said, as much as a compliment as she was capable of giving. "Tastes like human." She rested her elbows on the table as she leaned forward a bit. "Care to taste?" She said, grinning darkly at Liam.

( )

"Not necessarily," Zaine said, shrugging lightly. "A lot of people go there but not to read, which is unfortunate for those of us who do go there to read." He glanced down at her. Noted her deep breaths. When he realized why, he immediately slowed his gait.
