Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Alexis lazily opened an eye to watch the nurse enter, then lifted her head to clean her paws while she listened to what was being said.

Anne poked her head in, the rest of her soon following when she saw that Dimitri was awake and up. "How are things going in here?" She asked, glancing between the two men.
"Well, he's awake and feeling better, I was just checking his blood to see what the virus was doing." Michael said with a shrug

Leah blushed as he looked at her. She murmured, clearly embarrassed, but in a thankful and appreciative way, "Thank you...I think you're handsome too." Oh, she was not helping herself, was she. She really needed to work on her people skills. She moved her braid so that it was behind her head once again, so she could look at him with no obstructions.

William smiled and gave a quiet laugh, "Well I am glad you think so. I don't know why I was so worried about you getting sun burned, red looks good on you." He said with a smile as he brushed his fingers across her red cheeks from her blush.

"No, please. Don't," Zaine said quickly. He glanced to the door, then settled his gaze back on Lyra. "If he's well enough to talk, I'd rather have you there. Quick escape excuse, you know." He shrugged. If. If, Dimitri was okay. If he'd be willing to talk.

Lyra nodded and stayed next to Zaine. "I can take my bag back though, you still have it." She pointed out with a grin and held her hand out for it. She didn't bother to ask why he would want such a quick escape, she figured she would just let him decide what he wanted her there for.

(As a side note if you still want someone to make his friend from before let me know I might be willing to give it a go. Not sure how we would work it in or if you even still want too but I would be willing to play them. )

( )
Willow snuggled into Adrian's side easy enough. This close, she felt cherished and loved. But she still nibbled on her slice of pizza. It was far too good to put down. Her man sure knew how to make a mean pie.

Andorra tore through her food and beverage.Good home cooked food was a treat. But she couldn't help but to watch the couple out of the corner of her eye. They made a cute couple and it was obvious how close they were. It made her think of Alexis and Dimitri, which led to her renewed worry for her friend. She frowned and ask Ares, "So what have you found out about Dimitri's attacker? You were doing a search when last week spoke. "

"Well If you do plan on tearing this thing down, give me a warning man, and I'll get out of your way," Ares said, with a crooked grin. Hearing Andorra's words, his jovial countenance flickered slightly. If she was about to read him the riot act, So help him. He quickly regained his composure and straightened in his seat. Poured some more soda for himself to have something to look at while he spoke. "Well, I've talked to a few people, narrowed down my list, you know. Not much to go on, unfortunately. Either it was someone bigger and stronger than the tiger, or they had an advantage he didn't. Surprise, probably. Bet he didn't see it coming. I haven't been back to the office, but last I hear, your ole pal Dimitri was out like a light and the doc was checking for virus." He leaned back and sipped his drink as he met her gaze finally.

Adrian gave Ares a grin at his comment and nodded. "Will do pal." He said with a chuckle as he leaned down and kissed Willow on the head as he tightened his arm around her. "You like your pizza? Worth the wait and interesting company?" He murmured quietly in her ear with a grin. As he spoke he listened to what Ares said about their friend Dimitri, he didn't know the man but the fact that he had been attacked made him nervous.

"Hey, that's what Razeth is. At least I think I remember seeing that in his file. But he's still down in the cells. " Vasper replied as he tried not to think too deeply on said relationship with Dyrus. He knew their priorities was taking them in different directions. Part of why his dark half was raising up more frequently. Uncertainty and nervousness with his budding relationship with Amaryllis made him constantly question himself. He took a swig of root beer and another handful of pork rinds. Live in the now, man. Stop opening doors to dungeons best left locked. He smiled pleasantly to Layla and said. "It's always better to be self reliant and master your own triggers. The workouts will take the edge off. You'll see in time." He held his bottle up to say, " To maintaining the madness within. "

Madison said, "Yeah, hence why you're breaking him out and not me. I don't do well in the hole. It's dark and terrible. Bears like caves. They spend months in them. Lions are nomadic. We need to move around. " She shuddered with a dramatic flair.

Eirik smiled through the slot and tuned out Madison to pay attention to Saskia. "Yeah, I'm a cage fighter. Just as if you handle me right, I'll definitely make it worth your time." He said with a charming smile. He then sobered as he asked, " Saskia? That's a nice name. What nationality is that and what kind of bear?"

Alastor resisted Eliana's guidance just a bit at first, but soon walked with her easy enough. When the elevator arrived, he followed her easy steps inside. Her words had made him smile, but held off on answering until now, "Oh? I think I feel safer already. Thank you for offering to do so. Maybe it'll help. " He replied quietly as the elevator opened on the ground floor. He took up the leadership role as they head through the hallway to the front entrance. When they got to the door however, he stopped suddenly. He swallowed hard and looked to Eliana with apologies. He felt so foolish for his ridiculous fear.

Layla tilted her head, she didn't recognize the name. "I have yet to meet this Razeth so I wouldn't know." She said as she noticed Vasper change slightly so she just moved on to his toast instead of poking and asking what was wrong. "To maintaining the madness." She said as she raised her root beer before taking a drink. "I was lucky to have met you today. And I will be happy to see the improvement once I start the work outs." She said with a nod of her head, she would be happy indeed. She was not fond of the dark places her head often took her, and she was eager to get rid of it. She reached for a pork rind and popped it into her mouth and chewed. How had she never heard of these things before, she wondered looking down at the bag as her mouth filled with spicy goodness.

Saskia laughed at her friends dramatics, "Yes we do spend lots of times in holes, real bears even make a furry butt plug so they don't poop during their hibernation. Thankfully we are not so similar to our animal counter parts." She joked as she focused on the lock.

"Make it worth my wile will you, well aren't you just the charmer?" She said with a quiet chuckle to Eirik until he sobered and began asking questions. She paused her lock picking and looked at him suspiciously. "Why do you want to know?" She said slowly as she looked at him trying to gauge if this was some sort of trap.

Eliana smiled at him as he took the lead as the elevator reached the house. She looked around at the mansion, she had never really seen it before. Is this where the others lived she wondered? When they got to the door she threw it open and inhaled the fresh air, taking a few nervous steps outside until the sun hit her face. She closed her eyes and just breathed in the freedom, the fresh air and sighed. When she realized he wasn't with her she turned and saw him frozen at the door. She held out her hand, she could see he was nervous, and at first she didn't see why. But then she remembered what he had said, how little he got outside. But if she could take that first step outside after so long so could he. "See totally safe. Don't worry I scared off anything dangerous already." She joked to make it easier for him to look past his nerves.

Victor laughed, responding "Is Lucy whatever your last name is a sore loser?", eyeing her with a raised eyebrow to emphasize the question.
"Steele, and yes, I am a sore loser," Lucy said, pouting slightly. A smile slowly formed to let him know she was just teasing. She retrieved the puck and slid it forward to the center of the table, just barely reaching it.
