children playhouse conversion!

It's so nearly done! just a few more things like perches, bedding, drinkers, feeders, tidying around the side, Oh and yes hens!!!

I'm in the UK too, but I prefer BYC to the chicken sites over here.......!!

I hope you get your hens very soon but they are more expensive here than in the US (especially if you like the rarer breeds). I love Dorkings & they are not too easy to find. In the end I raised mine from eggs which I put under my White Plymouth Rock broody hen...........she's a great mama....!!

Looks great! You are off to a great start! One question though - is your run closed on top, or open? If closed, how do you hope to get in there to clean up? If open, what predators do you have in your area that might be a worry? 'Round here we've got large hawks (a family of which just happens to nest across the street - you don't think my plump juicy girls had anything to do with that, do you?) that I have to watch out for.
