Chili Cookoff Champ

The people in my husband's office had a chili cookoff today. There were about 6 - 8 entries plus other stuff to go with it. Yesterday I coddled and nursed along a giant pot of chili made with deer meat sausage of the hot variety hand made back in Georgia by a mennonite family with a meat processing business. I made a big pan of cornbread in my cast iron frying pan to go with it.

He left early this morning and took a gallon of chilli and a crockpot to work with him. He called me at about 1pm.

My chili won!

The prize was a taco bell style trophy dog and a gift card. I still can't believe my chili won!

MissP, I am not surprised in the least that your chili won. I don't think there is anything that you can not do. Congratulations on your big win.
