I have my 5 1/2 week olds outside and it's getting really close to trip digit temps here in DFW. This little trick seems to be effective. Put a little box sideways in the cage and throw in come gel cool freeze packs. I'll put them in about 11-noon when the temps start soaring and by sundown they are still cool to the touch and the birds seem quite appreciative!
