But OF COURSE right after this pic, my Cochin (the fluffy white lady pictured) pooped out a really clear and watery poop. The evening's serenity was short-lived tonight...

Ahhh the perfect night! I agree, the simple pleasure in life are the best.

I find that my chickens, my garden, baking and cooking are some of the loveliest simple pleasures. If only everyone could learn how to take pleasure in everyday joys, we would take better care of ourselves, each other, and (dare I add?) the earth.
