Some of mine are like that too. Most will come out though when we make paths. Some walk out on the paths for a bit, and turn around and go right back in though lol.

Other than a light sprinkling back beginning of December, this is our first this winter. We need it for the reservoirs for summer. I hope the mountains get a lot, otherwise we're facing drought & lack of water to fight forest fires.
