Chinese, boy or girl?

Goodness, my Embden hens let out a scream like a woman in terror, its very loud! Its usually caused by a fear & flight type thing, like a grocery bag fluttering on a fence. Something is not OK (stray dog for example). It sounds like WHOOOOOO and high pitch ear piercing if you are very close. Then comes my gander BB (Big Boy) rushing in, and corralling his ladies. They also make a wud wud wudda sound, but its scolding sound judging by the body language he displays. BB scolds his hens for not being with him and wandering off.
My Chinese are noisy but no where near that sound, yikes. The loudest is the OHHHHH and Weeee sounds. Happy chinese make a waa waa noise, and often bow their heads when you hear this as a greeting or acceptance sound. The ganders are definitely a higher pitch.

My Embden gander is ear piercing so is my young Toulouse gander but my Embden wins the prize for the loudest. I expect if I was holding a glass close by when he lets out his screech it would bust into a million pieces.
