For your viewing pleasure:
#1 is the pretty pink bubble wrap package I got from superchemicalgirl, my soon to be naked neck babies.

#2 is my pretty eggs all unwrapped and not a scratch on them.

#3 my Brinsea packed with 33 eggs, the first 3 rows held 7 eggs each, med. size eggs, 4th row held 6, then I stacked 6 on top and the wax paper keeps them from moving when the lid presses against it.

And my reason for not buying one of those was the limited number of eggs it accommodates!

Obviously I'm hanging around with the right crowd now.

I was always good at Tetris...

Mind you, my 'bator will accommodate 100+ if I take the turner out. How's that for a first incubator? I knew I'd be addicted!

Candling update!

Re-candled my CNY eggs (day 5) and... they are developing!!! Almost all of them! Only 2 or 3 not sure's, no definite no's.

They do seem slower off the mark than the bantams but I don't care, I'm SO happy I'll be hatching along with you.

To the people who told me to sit on my hands

me next time I want to candle early.

Most of my CNY eggs are developing also! One possible 'no', a few I can't see through. I have one cracked egg I sealed with candle wax and it's got a baby inside!

ok i candled this morning and out of my 11 Delawares i see 10 developing!!! so excited!!!!! How long till Feb gets here?????

I try not to stare at my eggs through my window but it seems to just happen and I catch myself doing it lol
