I have at most 2 CNY eggs that survived the temp spike

and looks like only 2 of my 24 shipped eggs are doing anything at 7 days, LOTS of scrambled aircells.

Today is my oldest daughter's bday. She's still having some problems after her surgery, but I did get to talk to her for a few minutes. It would have been my dad's bday too. He died May 1st. The March 11 would have been my mom's but lost her on April 22nd. The big NYD hatch helped me with my sister's bday. It was Dec 11, she died in 06 from Breast Cancer.

Been through a lot and will no doubt be through more. Last week alone I found out about Bill's BIL commiting suicide in Dec and then his brother just died a few days ago. Told someone I was at that age I'll probably lose a lot of people now. Haven't lost this many at one time since 14 yrs ago. that was a horrible time too. By far, Bill was the worse lose. Hard to think of him as gone.

WELL..........that's not depressing!

OK

I think i need to get rid of some chicks. Might have some BOs available soon. Two are doing great, but the other it's keeping up, so I'm thinking he'll be coming in tonight until he catches up. I'm also thinking of getting rid of my BLP roo, Bling, but I hate too. Just can't get any polish eggs to hatch, so he's a bit lonely, Actually he watches my girls and paces, so I guess he's really lonely, poor guy. Trying to decide if my MFDU roos stay or go. They're just so darn cute! Now if they'd leave eachothers tail feathers alone I'd be happy.

I had a temp drop in one of the bators. Down to 97, but the other is holding at 101, still air, so I think I'm still ok with the few that aren't clear. Hope some BCMs hatch. Too hard to see those, but I'm keeping mu fingers crossed. I really want Icelandics, but have had zero luck

Stupid PO! I always get broken aircells. It's the pits!

HI,
Well, it is never easy or preidictable is it.
Checked on my eggs about 1:00 pm to discover the inc. was unplugged...down to 80.
Hoping it will be OK...could not have been to long and I have read that it actually takes the eggs
quite awhile to cool...........
I am having to much fun with the babies.....you can almost watch them grow.

I have two goats ready to deliver.......they look awful....fed lots, alfalfa, grass hay and grain but still look pulled down.
Multple births for sure.
Looking forward to the spring grass coming on.

Purchased a BUff Oprpinton rooster named Brewster

He is a beauty for sure and calm....

Wolffie, It has got to be better..........sounds like your grief is great...mine would be to.
I find with my own life that it seems to go in cycles...sometimes rough.then real easy for awhile................
Wishing you get on the upside soon

I am going to sell my BLRW's from Bishop........Got three splash and on dark blue.
My eggs were actually in good shape and I think I was the cause of not getting a better hatch.
Long story.......
They are nice and Bishop did a good job.....I am just disappointed with the splash and decided I have to many breeds.

I keep going back to my FBCM's.....blue not black...........although I get predomitly black when I hatch.
I love my roo, Greshwin, and his ladies.

Good hatching all;)

Well I weeded out the blood rings and clear eggs tonight. Out of 25 shipped eggs, 11 show development, including a couple silkie eggs and a blue orp. A little less than 50% but I am not disappointed!!!!!
