That zodiac thing is sooo stupid. I am staying a Libra. It's been good enough for 3000 years and now it's not? I blame Obama.

Our 7 week olds are now in their isolation section in the coop, jousting and playing and loving life. I have 3 day old ducks and chicks in the brooder. And I have 25 eggs in the bator.

So far my Brinsea is holding temp n humidity well. The shipped eggs were put in this morning.

My Silkies turned 5 weeks today and will be moving to the shop tomorrow. The Blue Wyandottes are doing great (all 14), we let them free range this afternoon and it was a hoot to watch them play n forage. One of the girls has been trying to get back at this squirrel that teases them when they are in the pen. Everytime I let them free range she will eventually make a bee line for that squirrel trying to get it! it is too funny. The squirrel just eggs her on and will come down the tree a couple of feet from her popping his tail and making fiesty squirrel noises at her. Poor girl, being harrassed by that ornery squirrel.

I have 21 set to hatch on February 3. I don't know how well it will go since I am new at this and am hand turning these.
