Nothing here still. I am thinking this was a wash. A week into it the incubator went crazy and it went way high, so we figured they were gone, but when we candled them 5 looked good. So I don't know! I am loosing hope every hour. There is nothing going on. No noise, no moving, no pips, nothing.

When it gets warmer we will have to get some chicks, or buy some hens. I think hens. Sigh.

Edited to add:

This reminds me of when I was pregnant with my 5 year old. I was on an October due date group and I watched everyone deliver, then finally Nov 2nd Chloe came! Last one.

Congratulations!!! I just back from the doc also and I am 9 weeks and 1 day along!! We got to see its heart beating and its' little arms and legs wiggling..
I am hopelessly addicted to chickens and all it entails apparently.. When we were on our way home from the doctors office.. I looked at my hubby and said.... I got candled! We are on day 65 and can already see movement!!

I wanted to make blue egg laying silkies, so I let some arcaunas with the silkies, the others were in with the BCM roo for olive eggers and it appears I sent you the wrong ones

All the eggs are the same pretty blue *sigh* I'm guessing we scrambled the olive eggers for breakfast. I'm sorry.

I hatched one the same color today. It keeps peeping at the other blue egg and I can hear it hollering back, so hopefully it will hatch soon.

I'm not upset unless you are. He's so cute.

Are the BCM eggs mixed? Olive Eggers? I I have one brown egg chick and 1 blue egg chick and no more pips. I was checking the second one and I could see a toe sticking out of the pip. I used long tweezers and picked off a little piece and his beak was showing, but he was twisted, so piked off a little more and left him. Took him just a few minutes after that.

I'm kind of thinking maybe they are all too big and can't pip. Trying to wait, but I may pip shells later and see if it helps. Just waiting and leaving them alone for now.
