A couple of Quick Questions

1. How many days incubation?
2. Feed chick starter?

And how big is a jap quail egg compared to these ones?

japanese(coturnix) quail eggs are about twice(or more) size of the chinese(button) quail eggs.

incubation time for button quails is 16 days(stop turning on day 13) and 17-18 days for coturnix(stop turning on day 14)

you can toss that chick starter out the window when it comes to quails. they need gamebird starter 24% protein or higher, if you can't find gbs that you might be able to find a high protein turkey starter.
