Thanks! Chip is really friendly and loves to be held. Dip is kind of a bully. He chases my chicks around when I put them in the outdoor pen. And if I take Chip out of the tub, Dip cries like a baby. Haha.
I dont know muscovy and anconas look alot alike. Does chip have a greenish tent to his beak. When they are that young you have to look really hard. At least for mine you did. If he has a greenish tent to his beak he is an ancona
A picture of them standing would be very helpful. Anconas stand at a forty degree angle since they have runners in their bloodline.
Thats what i thought. Muscovy (at least the ones that i have seen) dont have the "splothes". They have a more solid coloring. And muscovy dont have the black splotching on their beaks either. So i am going with ancona. Congrats by the way i have three ancona babies that i purchased a month ago from the local feed store and they are wonderful ducks. But so is my little khaki campbell. Which by the way. If you happen to get a female khaki they are known to be one of the best egg layers.
